I have a feeling that golden boy will steer khan clear of garcia until 3-4 fights against light punchers.
This is what annoys be about boxing.
Khan could outbox garcia 10 times out of 10. Khan has alot of skill and was giving garcia problems before the knockout.
When will this rematch happen?
Why will it happen?
What has khan proven in his career?

I posted in the other thread saying Khan might be fighting Joseito Lopez next so it won't happen straight away, Khan does need 2 more fights before another shot at Garcia I reckon. Lopez will be a tougher test than Molina, so we will see where he goes from there.
Would be good to see khan have three fights next year
He needs to be busy for sure, posted in the other thread too saying he had a double hand fracture? So I don't know how long that will keep him out for.

I don't think Golden Boy will make it, they'll find a way out of doing it. If it happens I think Khan gets knocked out again, possibly even faster than the first time. I'm not even sure Khan gets past Josesito if they make that fight next.

Even at 140, who can GBP put him in with? Matthysse? Ha. Garcia would get through to him again. He may even get sparked by Josesito who will be throwing the kind of looping hooks that Garcia caught him with.
I remember when fighters with bollocks took the immediate rematch clause.
I think he needs at least 2 more fights before going after Garcia
He's technically "rebuilding" and needs some time to get his confidence up and show what he can do.
He was still getting caught with the left hook and took some good shots. He did appear to be more patient and controlled and showed us that he can fight inside. He was in and out more this time and didn't look to trade as much.
I think he can beat Garcia after 2 more fights and should then move up to welter.
Totally agree, just watched an Khan documentary on ITV4 on Saturday making out he was a saviour of boxing. It was sickening. Khan will fight Paulie because he has beaten him already, he is feather fisted and khan gets to become a world champion at 2 weights.Quote:

In reality he has hand picked and carefully selected his opponents to ensure he does not embarrassing lose again. However I do not begrudge him this but he does need to be honest about what he is doing.
To be fair, up to the Garcia fight he was fighting whoever he could and even went after the biggest puncher (or one of the biggest punchers) in the division in Maidana. He was definitely pursuing the best and I'll give him respect for that. He got carried away and became overconfident and paid for it. He's not as big of a puncher as he thinks he is and his chin is not that good ... he has to realize this and try to play to his strengths and try and cover up his weaknesses. If he would use his jab more he'd be a better fighter.Quote:

But after the Garcia fight there is no question that he's getting hand picked guys. GBP can't have one of their stars lose like that again.

I see garcia being even more confident and aware of khans speed and boxing skills.
If garcia gets aggressive and starts the pressure even earlier it could be another knockout.
I think Garcia will KO him again. If Khan could take a shot he would win every round against Garcia, but Garcia will catch him at some point and if he does it will probably be all over.
P.S I have never see speed like Khan's, it is mesmorising!
