Re: ESPN FNF back Jan 4th
FNF is always fun. I'll be glad once it starts up again. Was nice having that Beltran vs. Kim fight recently, came outta nowhere.
Johnny Gonzalez should win as it seems like every time I see Ennis in a big fight he loses, less I'm thinking of someone else.

Re: ESPN FNF back Jan 4th
Nice to see the early yr kick off and a babbling Atlas back on the air ;D I'm sure he'll be losing us in "get in his kitchen" metaphors in short order. Really...great to have them back!
Is this a two hour? Tons of short round matches there. Lets hope Tub o' guts Gonzalez doesn't come in 19 lbs over the limit this time :-X Bet he misses HBO already eh

haha I was thinking featherweight Jhonny Gonzalez.
Shit. Now it makes sense cus Ennis is a lot bigger than that.
Yeah chubster tatted up demon child albino Puerto Rican is a tough lil fucker tho and likes to beat up on old journeyman so this should be par for the course.

That's just the entire card in the OP, ESPN won't televise all of them.

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
I really want Atlas to publish a book about analogies.
Imagine Atlas's top 50 Sex Analogies!?
That would be some crazy weird shit!

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
It's nice to see Yuri Romanov back in action. I remember getting some British fights on DVD years ago with a then 21 yr old Romanov destroying some of Britain's top lightweights. Was quite a talent back then. Nowadays who knows :dontknow:
He's only fought once since beating Jon Thaxton in April 2008 :-\
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
Barthelemy should get the points win and lol at Ennis coming in 7 pounds overweight. Gonzalez by stoppage.

Yup, Yuri Ramanau must not like fighting all that much, since the end of 2004, he's had 6 fights.

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
I still laugh at seeing those stupid ass lips tattooed on his neck. What an idiot. I like tattoo's, I have tattoo's, but a guy getting lips tattooed on them is retarded. :11fb8:

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
Ennis not showing much so far. Howdy folks :)
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
Glad Gonzalez took his career serious and made 152. He just looks naturally soft and muffin top like. 2-0
why HBO saw fit to have him though...ugh.

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
After 9 Gonzales is winning this fight no? I figure Ennis needs a KO.
-

Canes and shrinkage....... life not going good for you these days. ;D

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
Onward to the main, Rances Barthelemy vs. Arash Usmane, apparently Usame is originally from Afghanistan?
The Aggies are putting it on Oklahoma, who sucks in bowl games. (Choklahoma)
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
Barthelemy is a strange looking pug.
-
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
I think that was a really good round for Usmanee
Hey Teddy!...where is Saul :-\

I like to see Usnamee knock him out or at least win the fight.

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
Desmond Howard needs to talk to Showtime, they need boxing announcers. ;)

He actually has a fugly but somewhat effective awkward thing working...I got 2-2 :-X
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
Man ??? Usmanee is really boxing him up. Punching in between his long shots very well. All the sudden...4-2 for me.
12 rounds...long from over
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
I'd love to see Gamboa destroy Broner, actually anybody.
Good round 7 for Usmanee, who may be a round ahead now, hard fight to score.
-
I really want Usmanee to win this fight for some reason. Loving the heart right now
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
No quit in Barthelemy, but he seems to be getting the worst of it now, Usmanee being more effective.
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
5-3 Usmanee with Barthelemy eeking a tight 8th, Barely.
Usmanee makes me think of a blood and guts Tony Lopez ?!
-
Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread

Re: ESPN FNF back - Jan 4th fight/chat thread
This fight is likely closer on the scorecards then Teddy has it, but I figure Usmanee should be up by a couple rounds after 11.
