WBC: Danny Garcia-Lucas Matthysse To Be Ordered - Boxing News
If they both win their next fights the WBC will order this fight. If one doesn't accept he will be forced to vacate. There is no good reason this shouldn't happen. Both promoted by Golden Boy, both WBC Champions, both at the top of the division. They have to make this. Mattheysse isn't going to say no, so if Danny vacates, I'd love to hear Angel Garcia give a good reason why.

Solid solid match! Part of me thinks the wbc doesn't like Garcia though. It's a massive leap to go from blowing out the shadow of the shadow of Morales to a literal wrecking ball. Garcia better keep his head and honestly not read too much into that left hook trying to play power with Mattheysse or he might end up in Daddys lap. Very solid scrap and two guys who deserve big things!
Anyone who has a good chance of beating Garcia and seeing his dad cry gets my support any time.
There's no way that I would miss this fight.

I think his dad is an idiot who will only fuel Jr's opponents to KO him out and silence them both. Mattheysse is gonna make the two Garcias' cry in pain. Khan was a very good win for Danny ... khan was pretty much the best light welterin the division and Danny scored a huge KO win over him ... He exposed Khans flaws

Actually, there are really little boxers that weren't ignificantly better after they did hit the Wild Card Gym. The only problem with Roach is that he's been over mediatized, which might makes him look like a bastard more than what he does deserve.Quote:

This could potentially be one of the fights of the year.
I think Mattheysse will win. I like Garcia, but i don't think he's quite the fighter certain other people do. I could see him coming off second best whether we get a tear-up or a boxing match, though the former's more likely.
