We have been pretty lucky so far in Scotland there has been a bit but nothing drastic.it's the first time a think down south seems to be getting hit worse than us.
Snow is Lovely on, Christmas Cards.;D
I lived near Ipswich in the South of England for 3 years (dad was stationed in the U.S. military there) when I was a kid. I used to ride my bicycle all over the English countryside, and had a ball.
Anyway, the entire time I lived in the UK, from 1955 to 1957, from the age 7 to 10, I never recall it snowing, but perhaps lightly once or twice. (I wanted to make a fucking snowman) :-\
Snowing lightly in Kent now but nothing serious, my sis lives in Watford and got it bad only hour or so away so might get worse later.
glad its the weekend tomorrow as i think i'm stuck here for the time being :o
I still love snow, its the fucking tossers who run the trains i hate, little flurry of snow
and your journey too and from work turns into a disaster.
We're gettin pounded here too. Just read this in local newspaper:
"The elderly driver was moving her vehicle for snowplowing and somehow accelerated across the parking lot, through a fence, across a yard, through the patio doors of a residence and came to rest completely inside the residence.
No injuries were reported, no one was home at the time, and no charges are being laid against the driver.
The residence sustained heavy damage. "
:D

Our house is on a really steep hill,so dangerous to drive, and every time it snowsthere is not a speck
of grit on the road from the council, absolute disgrace as there are a good few OAPS who
can hardly leave there houses in these conditions.
