Khan vs. Garcia Rematch is Targeted For The Fall - Boxing News
If this happens, I don't see him fighting Mattheyse any time soon. The WBC need to force the issue and tell Garcia to fight him or be stripped. Garcia will probably let the WBC strip him and defend the WBA title vs. Khan.
Surprised at the rematch khans to good for him as long as he doesn't try to slug it out khan by wide points win or ko also think juda might surprise a few people and beat garcia
Easy fight for garcia,take the money for fight 2 against the chinless wonder.

Me too. No matter how carefully his new trainer has him boxing he'll get clocked at some point. When he does he'll revert back to fighting the same way he always does.
Khan is getting married this year so if he loses he will probably retire and make babies. If you see his woman, you would not blame him either.

If no Matthysse fight is lined up before the end of this year, it's hard not to call this a duck job. Khan I was a great win for Garcia, but Garcia ended it decisively, and Khan hasn't fought a top guy to earn another crack at Garcia.
I agree on this, Matthysse deserves the shot above Khan. If Khan can get in 2-3 more good wins then he should have a shot late 2013 or early 2014 and that's if he can get those wins. I think Khan is a big name though and might be a bigger money making draw than Matthysse. Matthysse is also a lot more of a risk too. But I think Garcia wouldn't shy away from Matthysse though, it's not really up to Garcia who he fights it is up to the promotion team. I'm sure along the way this fight will defiantly happen though.Quote:

It all depends on how Khan chooses to fight. If he is sensible, he boxes Garcia's head off on his way to a one sided UD. If he gets too involved, he runs the risk of being ironed again.
If Khan fights the right fight it's an easy win for him.
Khan will never have an easy time with a capable puncher. I really don't think it's in his makeup to fight smart, and even if he does manage to hold things together he doesn't know when to throw what and overextends himself all the time. The guy is very talented but very stupid, even for a fighter.Quote:

Maidana always has a chance because he can punch, but I would have Matthysse as a huge favourite. Matthysse's biggest flaws are that he seems like he can be outboxed and that he's not very fleet of hand or foot, but Maidana isn't the guy to exploit those weaknesses.Quote:

Exactly, and Matthyse definetly has some subtle boxiing skills of his own. I think the worst case scenario for him would be having to fall back on them and winning a tough decision, but I wouldn't be surprised if he just took it to Maidana and steamrolled him to the body either.Quote:

If you watch Khan's fights against guys like Maidana and Peterson (maybe more, not thinking clearly now) he starts the fight boxing their heads off. His hands and feet are so much faster and he looks to be in a completely different class to them. Then he gets clocked for the first time -- and he slows right the fuck down. I think when he does get clocked he'd like to box smart, I think he'd like just to have got on his bike against maidana and safely utboxed him instead of taking endless shots but he couldn't do it because once he gets properly hit it slows him right down compared to how he is when the first bell goes. That's why if he fights Garcia again it's only a m,atter of time till Garcia catches him again and eventually Garcia will stop him again. Maybe it's over even faster than the first fight.
No thank you , enough with the stiffs already. ...... Danny Fake Ass Garcia needs to step up and fight Matthyse. After he loses that fight . I say ok to the fight!
