Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Here we go Campbell here we go !
It will also be interesting to see if Joachim Alcine is interested in fighting anymore of he's just goin to sleepwalk out there to be KO'd again.
He's a skilled and talented boxer, but you don't know who is gonna show up. The good, the bad, or the ugly.

Campbell will win, he's got a big family to feed. ;)

Tyler and Baha will probably steal the show. Bizier will most likely stop Nate or the corner will. Alcine is done. Toribo has a jello chin and Alcines is glass.
I'm looking forward to the Frampton fight.
Andy Lee's babysitting continues this weekend.
The Soto fight is a bit of a given.
The Ceja fights are also on the top of the program stream wise.

Montreal is always a bit of a cultural experience, French is the city's official language. I love the diversity, the closest thing we have here in the States is Louisiana. It should be worth watching.
cheers

Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
:rasta: ESPN just showed the replay of Pac vs JMM, Manny was bringing it and giving Marquez a beating before the KO. I don't think i've ever see a gutsier performance then the one by JMM, he's a great champion, ATG, and deserves a ton of credit, for coming back from diversity to KO his opponent. I know he made a believer out of me.
Here we go with FNF from Montreal, Teddy and Joe calling the action, 1st up, Tyler Asselstyne vs. Baha Laham, 10 rounds, junior featherweights.

Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Asselstyne doing nice work in the 1st round, especially to the body.

Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Pretty good little 10 round tussle here, Asselstyne winning the earlier rounds, but Laham coming on.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
They could have held this thing on a stamp
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Laham is one of those guys you'd hate to fight, Asselstyne hits him with everything but the kitchen sink, but Laham just keeps coming. Last round, close fight I reckon.

Pretty even fight. Put a stream link in another forum in case anyone is interested.

Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Officially Laham wins a SD, one judge calling it a draw.

Do you get ESPN FNF in Canada, on Cable TV?

Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Which Nate will show up? Unfortunately I believe it will be the 40 year old shot version. :-\

Not this far North but I'm sure its available south.I have not tried Cable in years. I'm on a Satt and Espn is not an option. TSN would air it years ago and somehow boxing got bumped by such sports as curling, figure skating and synchronized swimming. Thanks to the internet such short sighted moronic programming has not effected my FNF experience etall.

I imagine it's a cable option, in the South, Toronto, Montreal, et al, it's good that you can get it on the internet.

Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Bizier has some pop in his punches, I can't see Nate going 12 rounds with this dude.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Good 4th round for Bizier, Campbell is starting to take a beating.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
I'm not sure Nate has won a round, 6-0 Bizier, who looks like a good prospect.

It's not looking good for him.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
I'm amazed that Campbell is taking some of those hard punches by Bizier.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Somebody is wearing down, but it ain't Bizier, sorry but Campbell isn't going to come on late.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Nate's corner stops the fight, officially an 8th round TKO for Bizier, somewhat predictable, I couldn't see Campbell finishing this fight.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Nate looked old but he said he had only 7 days to train.
-
Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Asselltine def won that first fight a good 7-3. The Lebanon kid was tough as nails and brought the pressure, but also gassed and spent much of the fight getting manhandled.
Campbell looked old once again, but was as tough as ever. That prospect he fought was a very good young fighter. Too strong and young.

Bizier looked a lot bigger too.

Re: ESPN FNF - Feb. 8th - Kevin Bizier vs. Nate Campbell
Missed the card but I'm hoping Campbell can just retire. Too nice a guy to continue taking these poundings. Anyone know next weeks bouts?

Good heads up bud. This card looks like slim pickings yeh. Delvin should be a big favorite but I'm pulling for Comanche to pull the improbable upset. Not clear if Rodriquez is going middleweight (:-\) or staying at jr.
