What's up with David Haye?
I've heard nothing from him. He is without a doubt one of the best fighters in the world. Does he plan to fight again? It's a shame that his talent has to go to waste. There are big fights waiting for him. Tyson Fury Tony Thompson or one of the K brothers. I'm a big fan of his and boxing needs him. If anyone has any info please share.

Re: What's up with David Haye?
I don't rate him, his heart isn't in the fight game.
-
Re: What's up with David Haye?
He's still begging Vitali for a payday.

Only in the Wlad fight? He did okay in all his other fights but he seemed overwhelmed with Wlads size.

Re: What's up with David Haye?
david haye is a piece of heartless banana peel. if he truly loved boxing he'd a fought 6 times already since his loss to K. He coulda peeled thru Adamek, Arreola, Price, Skelton, Wasczlewski, Yuri Andropov, and that other Russian guy what the hat's 'is name Ruslan Chagaev or something like that.

I agree with brock.
David could have made loads of money by being active and storming through the other heavyweights which would have put more pressure on vitali.
David is the best uk heavyweight and needs to start making his mind up what road he is going down.

He could handle the size because he handled the size with Valuev. He couldn't handle the skill.

That was said about Audley too. Do put him in the same class?

Theres 16 weight divisions (I think?) with at least 2 fighters better than Haye in each so unless you are saying that David Haye might be in the top 40 fighters in the world then you are wrong;D

No, I never rated Audley at all because he was so old when he won at the Olympics. You see the older Olympic boxing champs, guys like Stevenson & Savon, that's awesome when you win 1 Gold Medal vs kids your same age, but the 2nd gold were less spectacular and the 3rd well it's just men vs boys isn't it? Audley had power, but was sheepish in his style & if you can't outbox Dominick Guinn you're just not top class. Audley doesn't believe in himself enough to be anybody...he's physically gifted but old & lacks confidence. Boxing isn't instinctive to him, he thinks too much in the ring.

Re: What's up with David Haye?
Vitali said today in an interview on a Ukrainian website he's not going to be fighting Haye.
-
Re: What's up with David Haye?
They said it was on the advice of Lyle. 'Haye wants to be in your bum and so does Lyle. Wlad is my brother and the same is true with him also.' They all seem to like big men and bum sex. Lyle told me, 'I may have the belly of a middle aged panda but I have a semi flaccid cock'. Homo erotic fantasies are why a bloated man would so worship an Eastern European bore.

Re: What's up with David Haye?
I heard Haye now wants Price.

Oh yeah. They're close friends, right?
-
Re: What's up with David Haye?
If Vitali fight doesn't happen. Then a fight with Tyson fury should be a big pay day for him. Right?
-
Re: What's up with David Haye?
I hope he fades away just like he should have after the Wlad performance
Like others have said, he could have fought many top fights against other contenders & built a calling for a Vitali fight
I fear now that the Vitali fight seems unattainable he may have left it too late!

They have sparred and yes I think they are friends.

David Haye needs to put some Bobby Womack on, undo the braids and backcomb that fro back into life before marching back into the HW division and reinventing himself as one bad mutha.
-
Re: What's up with David Haye?
To me, other than Wlad K. Haye is the best HW in the world. His hand speed and power speaks for itself. Vitali wants no part of Haye. Vitali looked like shit in his last fight. Age is catching up to him.

Haye couldn't hold Vitali's jockstrap!
-
Haye isn't bothered if he doesn't fight again, said many times klitschko or no fight. He's not interested in fighting anyone for the sake of a fighting or for a payday.
Haye has always stated he wanted to retire early.
-
Re: What's up with David Haye?
One more question. Has Haye made enough money to retire? How much was his biggest pay day?

He should have, but there again how much is enough, we must remember boxers in general are not
very good with money. We admire them for there boxing skills not the financial skills.;)

He's probably the richest current fighter barring Mayweather and Pac. He sells massive PPV in Britain
Last three reported purses - £15m (Klitschko), £5m (Audley), £3.5m (Chisora)
The funker is absolutely loaded.

OK, 15 million pounds is 21 million in US dollars. 5M=$7m 3.5=5m. So in terms of US dollars he has made about 33 million dollars. Yeah, He's rich.

Re: What's up with David Haye?
He might have generated that much but if anyone could be bothered to work out what he actually gets out of that figure. There will be promoters, managers, trainers, sparring partners, gym rent, travel fees, liability, tax and insurance contributions. Id bet hed have been lucky to see a third of that figure actually end up in his account. Thats still a fair wedge but theres tons of middle men to pay.
-
Re: What's up with David Haye?
Big mouth small talk, as far as I am concerned, he can disappear for good.

That maybe true, but how many fighters can beat him in the HW division? If he did have a broke toe then why doesn't Wlad give him a rematch? There is no other fighter that can make the K brothers as much money. Why are they running from him?

Every fighter has those expenses, whether you're on £500 or £5 million. I know you wont give Haye a single ounce of credit for anything but please don't start trying to argue he hasn't made huge money (;D).

Re: What's up with David Haye?
He promotes his own fights, a lot of the incidental stuff like travel is covered by the promotions and he pays tax in North Cyprus which is low single digits. His trainer is his business partner but I'm guessing the Haye part of the business is Haye's entirely.
