If Wlad was fighting a cab driver then he would find some way to sell and promote him. And I bet the arena will be sold out when this fight takes place. To bad us Americans don't have the same passion anymore for heavyweight boxing. Except this forum you guys are cool.

I understand what you're saying about passion but this is a bad example. I think it is a crying shame that German fans will part with their money for any old shit. American fans should be commended for having a higher standard. Boxing should be competative, and fighters should earn a world title shot. Like has been said on here in the other thread, wins over an old Frans Botha and a defrosted Oliver McCall don't cut it.

You can always tell if a fight is good if the champion talks down the opponent and tries to intimidate them. This is the opposite. I am not being critical of Wlad, it is just the truth.

I agree mate. Mayweather rips his opponents apart, Adrien Boner too. But Klitschko has more of a respectful attitude.
Like when he fought Haye he never bad mouthed even though Haye was pretty mouthy.

Mayweather vs Cotto, very good fight and both fighters were very respectful to each other. It's not a MUST, I mean there's plenty of fights where fighters talked massive amounts of shit and the fight was crap Tyson vs McNeely....Peter McNeely talked because that's all he could do, when it came time to walk the walk he did nothing.
