:pimp2: Alright homies, off the top of my head I don't know anything about these pugs, but perhaps we'll get to see a few decent fights, i'm sure Teddy & Joe, et al, will be discussing Hop vs Cloud, so some good info there, like the weigh-in, etc.

I've downed a few Shiner Bock and i'm ready for some mo-fukin' boxing... :D

Magomed..... now there's a name that doesn't get mentioned too much when discussing heavyweight prospects. Granted, he doesn't have too many fights. But if someone as raw as Deontay can be on everyone's mind as far as HW's go.... then why such silence on this guy? Kind of curious to see how he does.

His age is a concern to me, but if he can be moved fast it may not be an issue

Here we go 1st up Magomed Abdusalamov vs. Victor Bisbal, 10 rounds, heavyweights, this Russian looks like a beast.

Mago has to answer for being dumped on his arse vs McCline off a unspectacular right hand, and McClines knee scoring the ko

Not a bad match up but Bisbal looks terrible

Bisbal has man titties.

Bisbal boxed his ears that second round and couldn't miss rights if he tried.

Mago better get with it!

Brisbal looks good but will tire

Bisbal looking good. I got him up 2-0 but I thought Mago might have stunned him a little at the end of that round.

Brisbal needs some defense other than that he looks good. Abousalamov ain't hard to find.

With all that flab Bisbal is carrying, I don't see him going the distance.

Abou looks more fit in shape but isn't looking great. Next 2 rounds will be telling.

Magos best shot is underneath, he is really huffing and not even trying to avoid shots, drunken robot legs at times

If Brisbal was in top shape he might could be somebody. Abousalamov is just a crap boxer plain and simple.

Bisbal looked done before the KD, Officially a 5th round TKO for Magomed Abdusalamov who goes 17-0.

Ah... never mind. Mago gets hit way too much. He'll eventually flame out.
Meanwhile, the fight was entertaining. Bisbal, although embarrassingly blubbery, did pretty good there for awhile. If only he would've used his jab more and not traded as much, he may have had a chance. Good first fight.



P.S. - Also sneaking a peek at the World Baseball Classic. Mexico's up 2-0 on the U.S.

Unfortunately for Guerrero, Floyd is right, it will be easy work.

up next, Samuel Rogers vs. Ivan Ziglar, 6 rounds, junior middleweights.

Rogers is really tense...Ziglar looks more natural but I'm thinking Rodgers will loosen up and land a bomb.

Ziglar looks a bit like a deer caught in the headlights.

Sharp little dude this Rogers. Trained by Julian Jackson? Good to see him with a hand back in the game.

Zigler is game, Rogers is just beating him to the punch.

I'm a sucker for a rangy sharpshooter but Rogers needs to step up his counter shots...they are available by the 1/2 dozen.

Officially a UD for Rogers, there was no quit in Zigler, but Rogers was the just the better fighter.

I'll say Taylor gets to Cayo in one of the later rounds and takes him out.
