Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
Up now, Antoine Douglas vs. John Worthy, 4 rounds, middleweights.
-
Douglas is couple of steps above Worthy but he can't put him away.
-
Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
Savigne really did a number on Jackson Leonard. Looked like a doorman bouncing a drunk.
Anyone know much about Taras Shelestyuk?

Here we go, Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas.
-
Teddy might have given Rios the kiss of death when he picked him to repeat tomorrow.
-
Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
Bondas' nose already bleeding.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. ;)
If Rios just fights his normal fight and doesn't get too carried away early, he should take care of business. I think he's just too strong for Alvarado.

Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
It must be a bit unnerving to fight Vera, you hit him with your best shot and he just smiles at you and comes right back. :-\

Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
Bondas needs to have surgery for that knot on the bridge of his nose
He looks winded in 4th
-
Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
Vera putting some hurt on Bondas in the 4th round, if he keeps it up I believe he's stop Bondas.

Bondas is fading, he's game as hell but he's taking too many punches. Too bad, he started strong.

Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
I've got Vera winning 4-2 in rounds after 6, am I nuts?

Yeah, the nose looks broken.
He came in with a massive lump of "scar tissue". Might as well paint a bullseye on that thing

He needs to get that shit removed before he fights again, it's a liablity for him. I kinda feel sorry for the dude, he showed a lot of heart.

Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
That was a vulture move by the ref, lead with a statement not a question.
his corner was setting him up for problems not having that knot on nose 'fixed' prior
Wait...was that ruled a tko (punch) ??? They didn't read scores

Totally agree, don't know what they were thinking. But that finish just didn't smell right

Language barrier I reckon, the corner needed an interpreter, oh well, how 'bout a rematch after Bondas has surgery.
-
What do you think, did Bondas back out of the fight or was it a misunderstanding? I think he wanted out.

It looked to me like he wanted out, but who knows, like I said, get some surgery and ask for a rematch once it heals, ESPN FNF should comply.

Re: FNF - Brian Vera vs. Donatas Bondoravas - March 29
judges had Vera ahead apparently

Yeah, the nose is a big problem for him. He doesn't have a choice either, fix the nose or get out of boxing, because it will only get worse.

Yes, he looked very passive and timid. Wasn't much protest either. He was really in the fight too, I had Vera losing the first 3 rounds and I"m a big Vera fan.
Was shaping up to be a war which is the norm when Vera fights.
