What else could the American have done better?
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
I can't believe that actually happened!
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
lol noway i dont know if that guy with the head guard was just pretending to be shit at the start or that was 1 hell of a lucky punch
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
The guy knew how to box with the way he was avoiding the punches. He was only throwing the big left hooks, so he was looking for that shot. Quality fighter, waiting for the opponent to tire.

I noticed that also.
He shoulder rolled out of a few shots and he stepped round and spinned out. He knew what he was doing.

But cool vid reminds me of the ingles gym a bit seen them do this before except they dont hit you back...
True it did remind me of Herol Graham tiring his opponent and taking the mick out of him.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
Wrong guy had the head gear ;D Maybe the sleeper was a semi pro, amatuer and didn't want to risk a cut etc from basically an untrained street type.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
Its fun, but a bit sadistic to possess boxing experience and then goad a street brawler type into boxing you.
I'd say the guy with headgear knew what he was doing as he did not act a bit surprised that he dropped the other fellow with the first serious shot he threw.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
Maybe it was Danny Garcia in disguise with that quality left hook. :)
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
The Korean runs this twice a week (sometimes more). In this particular match he could use both hands. It costs 10,000 won (about $10) to challenge him for two minutes. He offers headgear and a mouthpiece but it's up to the challenger to take it. You can choose three options: 1. He just dodges. 2. He uses only one hand. 3. Normal boxing.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
He's in Seoul. Usually in Hongdae park at night (10-11pm) and sometimes in Gangnam but I've never personally seen him in Gangnam. He donates all or some of what he makes to charity as well.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
Oh dear not another Kimbo.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
Im getting a vibe here that you lot think hes good and looks like he knows what hes doing?
He doesnt look like he knows what hes doing. He gets caught, he bends below the waste without his eyes on his opponent almost in the fetal position and is a sitting target. Had he been sparring with anyone experinced he would have been put on his ass rather than just knocked around with every shot that landed;D
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
Funny thing, I don't really think that the Korean guy meant to hit him like that. He threw the hook and the other guy decided to drop his hands and walk to his right. Directly into the punch.
Myself, if I didn't catch on to what was going on when the guy just happened to be carrying gloves and headgear, I'd have packed it in when he made that first neat little slip. If I was feeling combative, I'd have got right on him, got his left elbow in my right glove, and bullied him around banging his body with my left hand. At some point I'd shove him off with my left forearm, push him into my right hand.
But then again, I know how to ove around and a little about fighting. Plus, I look like Santa's older, skinnier brother so the Korean guy would probably feel bad and take it easy on me.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
Brock or Miles please challenge him, we could do with a laugh.
Re: GREAT VIDEO! This is why you keep your hands up!
He hangs out in Hongdae park at night on most weekends. Now that it's getting warmer he should be up and running again. I'd love to see someone with experience challenge him.

He should turn professional, plenty on experience there. Beating up half drunk tourist in the park can only go so far.

Haven't you guys watched "Lionheart" starring Jean Claude Van Damme ?
"When the streets are a jungle there can be only one king...."

He's definitely a hustler. At least he donates some of his earnings to charity.
