We get to see Murray go into the Lion's Den here in the UK but I don't think anyone is televising Arreole v Stiverne whic is a pity. I have put money on Murray doing the unthinkable and beating Martinez in a hostile environment by simply employing sustained pressure and an educated defence to wear Sergio down. Murray will probably come into the ring bigger and stronger and if he uses his youth, he has a chance.

You can always use an alternative means. I have a few should you need one.

I will watch the Khan and Harrison Card then record Murray-Martinez and watch that fight tomorrow. I shall probably try and catch the Garcia, Quillin and Arreola fights tomorrow or in the week because it's just too much else to flit between. Also Mrs Greenbeanz wants to go out drinking at a real ale festival and after last weekend she may just add my name to this weekends KO list If I don't try and fit that in somehow.

Thought maybe these two (HBO, Showtime) could be stickied up there instead of the generic "I volunteer" thread to make things a bit more user friendly.

Don't know how I'm gonna juggle all these fights, but I'm gonna try and watch them all tonight. Hopefully the Zab-Danny fight won't coincide with any of the main events on HBO, 'cause I don't want to be switching back and forth. I'll use the DVR, and get ready to watch boxing into the wee hours of the morning.

I don't know much about Murray, but I hope he brings it, so we can have a good fight. Also, barring a disaster, which is not that unlikely in a HW fight, the Arreola-Stiverne fight should be a good one.

Any spoilers/link for the Mago fight? The HBO telecast starts at 8:30 so I imagine he's fighting within the hour.

Bad weather in Buenos Aires. Due to rain and high winds, word is HBO will now present the Sergio Martinez vs. Martin Murray first at 8:30PM ET/5:30PM PT.


Abregu-Decarie currently in the 5th round.

Decaire/Abregu is a pretty good fight so far.

Ref screwed Abregu there.

I've given up on Showtime and Hbo doing whats right by the fans and not going head to head with cards. At least Showtime will do replays at 12am and 8 am. Just noticed they are also reairing Khan v Diaz...at 3am. I feel like I'm going to od ;D

He's solid. I thought he beat Sturm. He's behind Barker and Macklin cause he lacks pop but he's coming tonight to win. I really like Martinez but I cant help but cheer for Murray at the same time.

I feel the same way. I have a ton of respect for Martinez, but it's hard not to cheer for the underdog.

Michael Buffer outstanding tonight. :)

How ironic if Martinez who had to travel to the UK to get work and beat up a string of Brits got old and lost to one in his back yard.

Smart fight from Murray so far. I think it's a solid bet that a 38 year old Martinez might gas down the stretch.

Murray fighting smart here. Martinez doing a little to much showboating.

Freakin Monsoon. I can hear it over the television.

CFH Murray has also faded down the stretch before, he was almost KO'ed by Sturm in the last round.

Interesting fight, could turn into a real battle.

Punching Martinez in the balls is a solid tactic.

Hbos telecast is spotty like a bad stream here, keeps cutting off and glitching

I have it 2-2 so far.

I missed the 1st round but it seems pretty even so far, with Murray winning the last round IMO.
