I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
I think barring a 1 punch knockout Paulie takes it.
I haven't been massively impressed with Broner. I know Paulie has lost a few big fights, but still a higher level of opponent.
I've already had Broner losing a fight that he got the decision.
My money is on Paulie. Maybe even a late stoppage.

How much money you putting on it? Want to do a Paypal bet? I'll give you the same odds the bookmakers are using.

Like I've said before, Broner is almost as good as he thinks. Broner is not my favorite boxer, and it would give me some pleasure to see him lose, but it's not going to happen.
Anything is possible so keep those positive thoughts for Paulie coming and keep your money in your pocket.

God I love your caution lol.
I'm a make money kinda guy, a big sum of my income comes from buying and selling on eBay, so I'm happy to bet on this.
Broner hasn't been in with anyone close to Paulie's standard, and I had him losing the De Leon fight, I think if it was that close in that fight then Paulie has a chance in this one, except the idiot judge that gave Broner nearly every round... Wtf?
-
Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
I too am betting on Paulie, I put in a day's pay on him.

I am 70 yrs. old, and have never bet on a fight, not even with a family member.
I play the slots in Vegas and have some favorite numbers I play with the CA Lottery, but that's it.
I've been watching fights since the early 50s. Hey, it takes all kinds.
If Paulie beats Broner, I will bet on the next fight you bet on. A small bet, to be sure.

Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
Paulie clearly lost his last fight to a club fighter, he got the crap kicked out of him and couldn't put a dent in a kid that the ghost of Erik Morales was able to get out of there. Yet somehow Broner being like 22, fighting below his best weight and drawing with a really good power puncher is a better yardstick for how this fight will go:rolleyes:
-
Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
Pualie hasnt a hope in this one. If he could punch hed have a puncheres chance but he aint even got that.
I like Paulie but if he lasts the distance Ill be surprised.
-
Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
I hope youare right man. It's hard to like someone like broner regardless of how good he is inside the ring and Id love to see him lose.
He needs to get that ass beat..

Well anything is possible I suppose even if highly unlikely. I'm sure Paulie's speed will give Broner some problems early or at least appear to be with Broners extra wide stance and all. To bad he cant crack a freshly baked bran muffin. Broner will walk him down.

I hope you are right as I do not much care for Broner, his hype or his antics (staged as they may be).
However, I am highly doubtful Paulie can do it based off his non competitive affair with Khan a few years back and his sub par performance against Cano. He barely won a fight against a kid Erik Morales stopped. The kid is tough yes, but come on now.
Speed kills, Broner def has it and I'm not sure Paulie does anymore.
-
Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
Well it may be premature but if Paulie can just work his ass off, get in the best shape and leave everything out therefor this, he may surprise everyone.
I personally don't like Broner, or Paulie that much.
Paulies exp may show and that could and hopefully will be the key!

Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
Yes Broner is like a Marmite coverd sprout, hard to swallow, were Paulie could talk the legs
off a donkey, but I like Paulie, Broner is like a relative in a party, you can't stand the twat
but you can't get away form him.Broner is a fine boxer, but so is Paulie with my heart I
go Paulie, but with may head Broner.:dontknow:

Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
I think Paulie is a spent force and cashing in on his title.

Why? I think he looked better then ever against Senchenko. I dont know if I could ever call Paulie a "force" tho:lickish::lickish:

Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
Saw Broner interviewed lastnight. He literally looks like he is about 160 easily and bulky bloated. I don't know if it will tell with Paulie but I think hes not doing his long term career any good with all this weight fluxuation, his speed will suffer, upper body movement and he is already pretty stationary. His wide shoe horse stance will see him pushed on his heels eventually and I've yet to see a great backfoot. I'm telling you...hes going to be a flavor of the month.
I can see Paulie finding openings but he is war torn and flat footed now, hitting Broner with Nerf ball punches wont help and I can only see the physicality catching up big as the fight goes. Broner and camp know and are counting on Paulie having been in so many wars.

You did see Paulie's last fight?
-
While I don't think broner is the next coming as hbo is making him out to be, paulie ain't got it, maybe never did since he always came up short in the big ones, and well lately even in the not so big ones. Broner takes this perhaps by corner or ref stopagge don't see paulie going down since dude got heart and chin for days. Altho I do think when broner faces a matthyse or a guererro hell be in for a rude awakening and come crashing down.

Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
I wish Broner would just fight Randall Bailey, stand still with his hands down and let Bailey hit him with the right hand, just once. Once is all it would take and little hair brushes would be floating around his head like tweety birds. :stars:

That is my only real knock on the guy. By fighting that way and flatfooted he could easily be taken side to side and forced onto the back foot but nobody has been able to do that yet and to be honest I don't see that many people that could exploit it. Nobody even feints anymore.
-
Re: I'm so confident that Paulie beats Broner.
Paulie has no chance in this fight. He's not gonna knock the guy out. I doubt he outboxes him; even if he does, the judges will all see a Broner win. Paulie will be losing the fight before round 1 starts.
-
Broner has youth.
Youth wins this one not experience.
If paulie had power then it would be interesting but he doesnt.

Yea I thought Paulie won and was shocked the fight wasn't stopped. That cut was gruesome

Paulies only chance in beating Broner is coming in with the better haircut.

Totally, up to now its worked but I think it'll catch up. Just not with Paulie, no way. Paulie doesn't have the mobility and pop to avoid laying in Broners wheel house and gradually being chewed up. Broner has nice selection inside as long as hes mindful of return. Broner will be able to position himself pretty much as he pleases.
