It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
I can't stand that wanna be thug gold grilled loud mouthed punk. He cheated all night, low blows, knees elbows, rabbit punches, etc etc....and he is absolutlely classless and a disgrace to the sport.
Paulie tried to congratulate him on his win, but Broner's actions/words a few seconds later were the words of a total Piece Of Shit. He is the next Mayweather all right......
That fight was close. 111-117 my ass!!!

Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Sadly for all the muthafukkas that hate him he's a skilled POS
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
He's a dick, but he's nothing compared to the wife-beaters and murderers that populate the sport.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
from what i saw tonight he wasn't so skilled. skilled at cheating and not getting caught maybe. paulie cracked that jab in his piehole so many times it was ridiculous. pop! pop! pop! paulie boxed him pretty good at times. the kid does have skills though, but a horrible personality/manners/ego. ruins it in my opinion. sad he is taking the mayweather road to douchbaggery.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
You'd love to see somebody KO him though. Method to the madness.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Broner boxed well, but he never really dominated slick boxer can see him getting sparked at
welter, Paulie had been badly beaten by Khan and Hatton, so is Broner the really deal only
time will tell.!
Paulie was not marked up, or badly hurt Broner does simply not have the punch power at welter
lets not kid ourselves guys a cock.
There was more entertainment in the interview, than in the fight hardly a classic Broner did
use a lot of dirty tricks, but he won is he going to be a second coming of Floyd, he gets hit
to much you hit him you can hurt him.;)

Thats right.
Broner doesnt look as though he has the power at 147. But who knows, paulie looked as though he was really up for this one.
-
He's still young and IMO it was bad management for his career moving him up two weight classes. He was doing the right thing at 135 fighting top rated fighters. He should have stayed there and done what most fighters do, clean up the division till there's nobody left and then move up. I know he won but his reps taken a beating last night. He needs to move back down in weight I think.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Very close fight, when you consider that Malignaggi isn't even in the top 5 at the weight you must ask what will happen if Broner meets one of the elite welterweights that can bang?
As always in a close fight Broner gets his customery 123-86 score from 1 judge!
That happened in the De Leon fight also which had at the very most 2 rounds in it.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Why the jump in weight, simple he looked at Paulie easy meat he picked his opponent well,
he was thinking a easy nights work,!
Paulie is lets face it the weakest, of the welter-weight Champions Broner should have really
hammered him, but he did not.
Broner made some unsavory comments, after fight mind you so did Paulie boxing gets a kick
in the balls again.!
Some people have class others don't, Broner was was not unlike a sewer rat chewing a turd
one day one of them turds are going to stick in his throat.;)
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
We already knew he was a classless cunt, the good news about last night was - it's not gonna be long before we see him get a serious fucking hiding.
-
Broner should go down again and deal with ricky burns and then stay in the 140 mix.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
I cant stand Khan and he is always a KO waiting to happen but I think hed piss all over Khan. Last night against a none puncher, he didnt really take many chances, just leaning back getting caught and shaking his head;D
If Khan can work consistantly I think hed pretty much piss all over Broner.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Technically, I see a lot more Andre Berto in Broner than Floyd Mayweather and that is why I think he will get knocked out once the clever matchmaking is out the window.

It's PAULIE though. Love the guy, but he has no power, and he's passed his prime. A prime Paulie would have beat Broner last night.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Make sure to judge all his fights accordingly.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
One thing I can say is listening to Broner makes me dislike Mayweather a bit less. Broner sucks up most of my disgust
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Just try not to let that effect you when you score his fights or how he fights. No argument here though. He's a dickhead.

Broner is a lil cunt to be respectful to Paulie's face then a few minutes later talk about his ex-slut and taking his belt n all this.
Broner should have had a point taken away, but I still think he won 8-4. MAYBE Paulie won 5 rounds, and I was rootin for him big time.
Paulie acted like a huge sore loser at the end claiming because it was his hometown he essentially deserved a gift decision.
Let Broner fight Matthysse and justice will be served.

They tired that already. Burns punked out. Didn't want the fight

Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Broner 4 different times turned it up and got Paulie reeling for a few seconds, he stopped every time short of following through!
He got his 12 rounds that he badly needed to get and won an easy 8 to 4 dec. over an out gunned but game light punching, safe opponent!
Broners people are doing a great job moving this kid around the classes so that when he's 25 years old and physically matured (hopefully mentally too) he'll take all comers on!!
At 23 years old all talented fighters are still carefully matched and theres a purpose and a reason for it! He is NOT overly protected but he is getting his lessons in. Paulies style needed to be exposed to Adrian because keeping your cool as a fighter moves away from you all night can be frustrating but he did well taking on a seasoned veteran!
I hope he's around at 27 years old, should be an exciting fighter, he comes to fight thats for sure! Loved the chopping right hand to the body to slow Paulies jab down. Ray

Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
I don't particularly care for Broner and Paulie only impresses me because he was a two time champion that couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag wet or dry. He has skills and speed with savy through experience exposing Broner's lack of experience. I watched the fight to be entertained and Broner showboated at times like an ass but he learned something by fighting Paulie. If he fought someone with Paulie's skill with power, he wouldn't run to the drawing board, his people would drag him there but that's a personal thing and I am only a boxing fan with cable.

Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
My hatred for Broner is tempered by the fact that twenty years from now he'll be living in the same housing project he grew up in and he'll look like his dad.
-
Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
There's a lot to be said about having class, not sure if it can ever be taught or it is something inherently part of a man. Though perhaps its not Adrian's fault for not having someone in his life to show him how to be a proper man, a class act. Oh well fuck that fuck face motherfucker.
He's a bum in the truest sense of the word. A no good bum.

Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
Before Floyd became "Money"...he was already a great champion. Mayweather had a tremendous amatuer career and had impressive wins over the likes of Hernandez and Corralles at about the same age as Broner. Broner is trying to skip ahead to just being an attention grabbing personality. His handlers have padded his record nicely up to this point...but if this kid doesn't take his business in the ring more seriously...he is going to get badly exposed. His wide, flat footed stance and surprising lack of lateral movement don't inspire a ton of confidence in his vastly overrated defense. And he clearly didn't carry his supposed power that well up to 147.

Very true, but Floyd also wasn't a mega draw until he got some limelight and started to behave like a chimp. Sadly his prior accomplishments didn't have anything to do with people starting to take notice, and really he's never been quite as impressive as he was before anyone hated him. Broner is obviously anything but smart, however he is going to bank a lot more coin being such a turd:(. IF his antics are just for show and he trains as hard as he would in any case, it'll only help him, and a lot. That's not to say he won't blow all of his money or wind up in jail or something, but that's a distinct possibly no matter what with people like this.

Regardless of Floyd's antics...and the quality of his resume now vs. early in his career...he is still a tremendous fighter. Also, with Floyd...despite his "Money" persona...there is no questioning how serious he takes his craft. There is no one as disciplined and skilled as him in the fight game. He also has a much stronger foundation than Broner...having had an accomplished amatuer career and possessing incredible pedigree. Broner has been able to get by B level competition. But i am far from convinced that he can handle bigger challenges both inside and outside of the ring. We shall find out.

I was looking for a photo that does Broner's dad justice but can't find one. Never mind.
Broner Junior isn't the only member of his family who can easily jump two weight classes.

Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
I try not to consider any fighters "outside" the ring antics because I'm only interested in viewing skills and if the fighters dedicated! What he wears to the fight or music is played or any other meaningless crap has no meaning to me. This era's boxer are pretty much all shallow personalities atleast in what they show to the public! That being said;
Broner has the ability and skills to be an excellant fighter who comes to box and fights out of a boxers mentality too! His management is moving slowly but wisely by picking certain opponents he needs to see and now with the last bout he gets the full 12 rounds in with a safe opponent as far as a threat in the late rounds!
I thought he could have opened up more than he did and also follow through with more shots but Paulie hauled azz out of there when Broner came off the cross armed shell and attacked! Broner could have concentrated on the hook to the body far more than he did and that would have slowed Paulie down so Adrian could hook the head but it didn't happen. He did chop a nice right hand to Paulies left side and that did slow Paulie jab down abit. All an all Paulie survived and Broner got his 12 rounds in and they both got paid well and all the fans were happy & sad just as they always are!!!
Oh yeah they both weren't very tired were they? Where did the side piece go? hahaha!!!
Atleast Bika and the Mexican kid came to fight, one out of five wasn't bad! Ray.

For sure, I'm only coming from a marketing standpoint. If Floyd were soft spoken or humble he'd probably never have become the biggest draw in the sport, Pacquiao would've eclipsed him despite barely speaking a word of english and having 0 personality. On the same token Broner will garner a lot more attention behaving like he does regardless of how he fights. Thats why he's already probably making more money than Floyd did at a similar age despite not being nearly as good.
Look at Andre Ward. Now I understand completely his style isn't for everyone and he can make for ugly fights, but there's no denying it hurts him financially to be civilized and respectful of his opponents. Sucks but it's just the way it is.

Can't blame him really though. If your son turned out like Broner then you would probably turn to food for solace. I would eat a whole manatee in a sandwich just for breakfast.

Re: It's Official; Adrian Broner is a POS....
No living creature in history has merely "turned out" like Broner. He is the kind of stupid that must be cemented unwaveringly throughout a morally destitute upbringing. Fuck his whale of a dad too I say!:D
