Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Don't really do round by rounds but as its too fucking hot to sleep I'm gonna dig in and watch this one.
First up some guy Named Charles Martin who looks like he's borrowed Shannon Briggs hair and Hector Camacho's shorts. Taking on some guy called Aaron Kinch who looks like he borrowed $20 dollars for KFC before getting in the ring.
Im quite liking Kinch actually. He cant really fight but he's fucking about with Martin who also cant fight. For what its worth Martin's 2 zip up.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Kinch occasionally swinging for the fences. Martin trying his best to.......
Hold up, Kinch just got twatted with the uppercut. Kinch beats the count.
Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah, Martin bless him doesn't really know what he's doing, he all of a sudden forgets whats going on and just stands in front of kinch in some interesting positions before back peddling a bit, engaging his brain again and starting over.
3 zip to pineapple head.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Kinch again nailed by the uppercut, Martin gives him a few more clumps around the ear for his trouble and the referee steps in.
Martin TKO 4.
Outstanding stuff.

Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Next up Ryan Kielczweski V Miguel Soto at Super Feather.
Kielczweski 16 and 0, 3 by KO. Soto 11 and 0, 11 by KO. Depends on the level I guess but Soto might be a puncher, Kielczweski definitely isn't!
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Kielczweski wearing shades into the ring. I want him to lose already.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Not a great deal of action there, I was going to give the round to Soto for the socks alone but then Kielczweski started to work and nicked it.
1 nil to CutMeMick wannabe.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Busy start for Soto but Kielczweski tidy and pops him off with the left counter. Repeats the dosage several times over, this time with lead lefts. Better movement from Kielczweski, Soto's punches a little too wide.
2 zip Kielczweski .
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Soto got home with a couple there, Kielczweski dabbing at his eye momentarily. Kielczweski employing a running right hand lead, all very entertaining. Soto getting hurt by the body digs.
3 zip Kielczweski.

Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
I think you're ahead of us bud, still have el' Futbol on and 40 minutes till start. How is that being a State side card ???
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Kielczweski more stationary now, happy to stand and punch, he's happy enough that Soto is dogshit. Soto Im sure is unsettled having someone in front of him who's sober, and punching back.
4 zip.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Soto's punches are well....a bit shit.
Soto about to jack it in I think if Kielczweski piled it on
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Boom! there it is. He got Pac'd, left hook though. They don't get up from a faceplant.
I warmed to Kielczweski. Tidy work.
KO 5

No idea mate ;D Why couldn't I time travel to Floyd Canelo?

Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Nevermind, just read its 'same day tape' WTF! All in the name of South American soccer ffs. Lundy has fallen like a rock from his cocky perch, Ajose should crack him.
Showbox card on too. Ironic both Lundy and Molina are in make it or break it fights tonight.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
I really liked Olusegun early on, he looked like he might be something special. I look at him like a lower level Winky Wright or Sergio Martinez. Coming over the England because no one wants to fight you and bashing up blokes who think they've got something. He was calling out Ricky Hatton without ever really getting himself in position to. He was as they say president of the who needs him club. Where Martinez and Wright moved onto bigger and better things I think the opposite will happen with Ajose. I can see him drifting into obscurity. Starting here.

Mexican League soccer on here in Vegas. 85 mins in. Hopefully fights start on the half hour.

Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Im having such a good time with this RBR. Are you telling me I now have to stop because you guys are behind?
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
;D Not like we can watch both at once anyways, no worries here dude *Spoiler alert
Are you guys seeing Showtime card over there? Not a bad one
-
This is Amercia, home of the brave and the DVR. I can't talk, unusually have to DVR fights anymore, getting married this year, my personal entertainment days are slim to none. I did make a point to reserve sept 14 though.

I want to watch that one. Is Jack on yet? Can you give me a shout when its on?
I've got it 1 round a piece.
Lundy cleaner punches in round one, Ajose not landing much. Round 2 a reverse of round one. Lundy landed a nice left counter but not enough to win the round
-
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Rinse and repeat round 2. Ajose busier, not a lot of output from Lundy. Again eye catching left hand from Lundy but not enough.
2 - 1 Ajose.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Jack v Ennis is 4 rounds in, Jack really coming strong behind strong straight punches now and turning it up!
I seriously hope Ajose takes him out ;D
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Wow great round for Lundy, really banging Ajose up there. It seems like a simple equation for Lundy. If his output matches or is close enough to Ajose's he lands the better punches and wins the round.
3 - 2 Lundy
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Lundy just cant miss with the left hand and Ajose doesn't do a great deal to get out of the way of it. I'm getting a bit prediction comp worried that Ajose doesn't last ;D
4 - 2 Lundy
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
5 - 2 Lundy. Ajose really getting beat up here. Lundy sitting tight then launching attacks that Ajose just cant fend off.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
6 - 2 Lundy. Not a great round of action but Lundy controlled it. Ajose cautious now, Lundy happy to cruise that round.
7 - 2 Lundy. Ajose stuck in reverse now and Lundy bullying him. Ajose attempts a little flurry at Lundy's body but I think that was purely because he heard one of Lundy's mob say he was fucked and didn't want to win anymore :D
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
I had to risk it a bit in the challenge with Lundy but not looking like the desired end.
Jack looks good. Hard to watch 2 feeds at once.
-
Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
8 - 2 Lundy. Polished things off by marching forward landing the jab. Ajose was fucked so when Lundy did sit and wait for a counter left opportunity it never came.
Good performance from Lundy. Bossed that. I said that Ajose sadly will drift into obscurity. That did nothing to change my mind. His best years were spent in no mans land.

Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Lundy got it eh? Ugh. Well cool, maybe he'll get that shot at Matthysse that Mike Dallas took for him ;D
Mickey Bey got only 3 months for a positive test??? Molina looks fleshy and tired

Its basically the amount of time off between anyway. Whats the point? Mayweather Promotions too...Jleon love tested positive but they pulled him off the Alvarez v Mayweather card.
At least Molina is clubbing him around good

Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Just as I invisioned.. Skills and clean punching over ineffective workrate..
Im still scratching my head as to why so many fans predicted a Ajose victory..

Me 2. He was starting to look like a pin cushion early. I thought Bey was going to stop him. Great finish.
Almost restores some faith in the sport.

Re: Ajose Olusegun v Henry Lundy card
Odd that FNF was available earlier online then on tv on this continent. Seems weird to have a tape delay. Good fight and worth watching even if the results are known.

It def threw it off. Just now catching it in round 7. Lundy boiled it down to pace and is well adjusted, no attacking to get clipped by just trying to keep up here really. Good bounce back.

Lucas fans love to blow him as a great win that's why, I'm sure we will now hear how Lucas ruined him.
