Total mismatch. Unless Pac has REALLY gone downhill since the KO, this should be a massacre.
People compare it to Margarito, but in reality Marg was a legit light middleweight. Brandon is a light welterweight. I don't think he'll have the bulk to stand up to Pac's onslaught.
On paper and a prime Manny I'd agree. I rewatched FNF last night and tbh what I saw was somewhat a shell of a man. A man who is trying desperately to hang on and I hate to say it cash out. Rios on the other hand seemed confident and surprisingly quiet in his role.

I don't think Pacquiao will disappoint. He's fighting a guy who is coming to kill him, face on. I honestly can't see how Manny would enter into a fight like that without regaining some form of desire to succeed.

i think pac is still haunted by that jmm KO. pac will be a bit gun shy cause he will be too cautious to get hit. if rios manages to land a good punch and if pac does not get hurt. then pac will kill rios. but if pac gets hurt he wont be as active as the old pac. its gonna be like pac bradley all over again.

You better believe that the only reason Pac was winning the 4th fight on the cards was because Marquez's gameplan wasn't to win the fight on points and get KO'd again, it was to hang tough, plant his feet and take it away from any corrupt officials.
You're right, he worked on strength and power in training because that was what complimented the gameplan, any accusations coming from Pac fanboys about PEDs are as ironic as they are hypocritical.

PAC is setting up the venue for his last chapter in the sport, Asia. He will bust up Rios for the majority of the fight until either Rios' corner stops it or the doc. Rios is a warrior, but he needs a guy to stand and trade. Any movement will just frustrate him to death, and Manny's accuracy will be the deciding factor. Rios doesn't win one round.

It's nothing more than a tune up fight for Pacquiao. Rios has no place to be in the ring with Pacquiao otherwise. Rios can't box, he is slow, has no footwork, no jab. He isn't a known knock out artist. I've noticed his body shots are looking great but there is no chance in hell he will catch Manny with it. he will stand there and accept punishment and make pacman look good. ive said this for a long time but pac will not trade with rios. he will revert back to the de la hoya gameplan. rios' only chance of winning is making pac stand in there with him. anybody can say what they want but rios hits very hard and has a very good chin, but he cant handle speed well. i just think that the fight wont be too exciting because pac will stay on the outside the whole fight and win a decision.

Can not see how PAC wins even if he destroys Rios. Abril boxed Rios ears off so no way a win warrants a Mayweather fight.
