I get the impression that he is a real tough guy and has serious power but that ability to succeed at the top isn't there yet.

From what iv seen of him he's like a heavy version of Berto and that seems like an easy comparison because they are both Haitian but he has fast heavy hands but is too easy to hit and not very mobile.

Too many heavyweights like this now. Not being taught how to move, use the ring, head movement, defence etc. just being shown how to punch.

He's from Montreal where I come from, he's good but not sure that he's real great. He deserves the belt based on the fact that Vitali has postponed it for the 4th time and his manager Camille Estepan said that if the alphabetical title plays by its rules, they should give him the belt like they did in the past for Lewis, Peter and Norton who were in similar situation: Estephan exige la ceinture | RDS.ca

Based on that, he does deserve the belt but I am not sure he has the tools to keep it once it'll be time to fight against one of the Ukrenian giants or a guy with skills like Solis.

Bermane is a pure counter puncher...meaning at times he's very lazy in the ring, he can't lead, and he'll allow you to hit him every so often. An in shape Vitali would just toy with Bermane, but Vitali is older and these postponements don't bode well for the continuation of his career. At this point if Vitali can't get healthy I would just assume have Stiverne vs Abdusalamov for the WBC title and then have the winner fight Wladimir to unify.

He's a cure for insomnia.

I like Stiverne but he will struggle against the good bigger heavyweights. So I don't give him much of a chance against the Klits. I actually think Haye and Fury would both beat him too and they would be fights I would love to see. He definitely is not going to be the ext person to dominate the division

See I think vs Fury especially Stiverne would win because Fury fights like a dope and he'd come straight forward winging his punches all willy nilly and BWare would smash him in the face like he did Arreola and Fury wouldn't get back up.

Stiverne will do best vs someone who will put the pedal to the metal and pressure him because he'll HAVE to fight back.

If you're even the slightest bit cagey you'll outbox him, hell Ray Austin was outboxing him before he got blasted

Depending on how hard Fury really hits (because I'm just not sure, comparable to Valuev? :-X), I would imagine that St. Iverne (it's how I pronounce it in my head :mad:) would work of the jab quite nicely with over hands etc.

It should read Tyson Fury is the next undisputed heavyweight champ.

Depending on how long King wants to milk that belt, Stiverne wont have it for long.

Arreola was about the only top ten heavy he could beat which is why he's sat on his ass for a year waiting to fight him again.

Last time DK had his hands on heavyweight tin he managed to avoid threats for quite a while. And when his guy lost it they simply took it and gave it right back to DK without even fighting for it. DK is already talking about how they don't have to fight Wilder right away. We know Wlad brings by far the most money short term. It'll be interesting to see who they choose to fight. I suspect some worthless opponent is suddenly going to be deemed worthy. If it's not going to be treated as a championship let's hope they at least deliver some action.

Nobody's beatin' Stiv. Not for a year or two. And it aint gonna be Wilder. Stiv punches nice and straight, would KO Wilder in 4 rounds.

Vatili is done that guy is over 40 now and is injury prone i think his time of boxing is over. Wald will just jab him to death and never be close enough to be countered he is not stupid. Wilder i don't know that is fight i would like to see it would be a barn burning while it lasted atleast someone going down but Wilder boxing skills i think still need some work really i mean just fought a elite. So we will have to wait and see because still not sure how good Wilder really is it going take a few years.
