Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
Be careful, use his jab and reach effectively, tie up Haye and wear him down and take him out in the later rounds.
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
Fury can use his jab, but he can also brawl and take a hit. It'll be a closer clash than people expect but the best Tyson Fury will have to show up to have a chance.

Fury can take a hit? Are you kidding me? He was floored by featherfisted Cunningham and Pajkic and he can take a hit?
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
How can Fury beat Haye? Simple answer. He can't

Yeah but he got up from them and wasn't hurt. Getting floored just means he needs to work on his defence.

If Haye drops him, Fury will get up. About 15 minutes later. Haye is an overrated clown. But he can punch. His power is legit. I'm hoping it makes for a highlight reel knock out

The test is if furys chin can actually take the power of Haye and if it can then this fight is very interesting.
Like I said, Fury has been floored against featherfisted fighters. I SERIOUSLY doubt his chin can take Haye's power.
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
Lead with a off key Ballad...jump Haye when he tears up in laughter. His only shot!

Anybody who punches at heavyweight has power, maybe different levels of power but they can still deliver power and any fighter is capable of knocking down another fighter. But fury to date has still got up from being knocked down. I personally prefer a fight if somebody gets knocked down and fights back and finds a way to win.
But back to what I said before this is the test of whether furys chin can take genuine heavyweight power.
if haye hits fury like Cunningham did youd expect him to be gone, fury wasn't exactly focussed tho when Cunningham hit him, but on the other hand he didn't just go down he was hurt and it wasn't until somewhere in round 2 that he was recovered

I hate this lazy term.
Cunningham stopped Huck something Wlads next opponent couldnt do.
Fury just has to fight disciplined and not get excited. Haye boxs very subdued against taller men. Watch the Harrison fight, up until they actually started throwing punches it was terrible. Haye should also not have got the decision against Valuev, whereas an ancient Holyfield was thought to have been robbed!
Against Wlad he tried but he just cant get in range becuase he does not have any confidence in his defence. This is why his defence consists of staying out of range and skirting around the ropes. He does not want to stand in range until he wants to let a few punches go. Chisora forced him to fight and Haye was tiring.
Fury if he pressures Haye and uses his jab well will have Haye knackered. Haye will be the one diving in to hold himself.

Fury will be horizontal by round 3 stfu.
The fights already over.
You should start discussing where Fury goes next.. Back to feather fisted fighters no doubt.
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
You arent going to start crying again are you "stfu" ;D;D;D
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
Something iv only just noticed that highlights what I mean about Haye not having a great defence and having to always skirt the ring out of punching range.
Watch the Wlad fight and look at how Haye has to launch himself in for fear of getting caught himself, he either starts a punch by dropping his head or by bending right down at the knees to jump forward. He really telegraphs that hes about to throw which is why it was mostly relatively easy for Wlad to litterally just step back and avoid those over hand rights.

He didn't manage to avoid Haye in Round 3.
2 minute and 10 seconds in Haye catches him with a Punch that would send Fury to sleep. The idea that Haye just ran and threw nothing at Wlad is mostly a reaction to his unrealistic boasts before the fight. It's hard to catch Wlad without being clubbed into submission or knocked out. Haye underestimated him. Do you really think Fury could survive with even the super cautious version of Haye? Here is a less Klitschko friendly edit of the fight.

How confident are you that your choice will win?

Is that video a piss take by someone who doesnt like Haye?
I could be bothered enough to get 33 seconds in and not one of those punches lands! Which again highlights what im on about, Haye being out of range and throwing hail mary over hand rights;D
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
Considering Haye had a broken toe he did well in that fight. I think he may actually beat Tyson Fury now. I have seen the light and the error of my ways. :)

Bloody hell, a burst of sanity.
This is serious prizefighting not big fat gypsy wedding!
Hope you match your revised opinion with a winning bet.
Haye 1-3, as always against the over hyped ones.

do you want fury to win Geoff?
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
I can see Fury winning this fight now whereas when it was announced I thought Haye would stop him when he decides to
After abit of thought I'm not sure Haye is the puncher hes made out to be. He boxes very carefully and minus the Chisora fight he hasn't done much at heavyweight. Ruiz was washed up and Audley was on his feet and got stopped because he wasnt punching back but even Sprott put him to sleep . Hayes yet to lay someone out like that so not sure why he'd start now
He gets completely shut down by bigger men who have reach on him, there wasnt much in the valuev fight and wvlad was in control from start to finish.
That's how Fury wins this.
We all know if he goes in like he did vs Cunningham he gets stopped quickly but if he's disciplined and stays focused i can see him keeping it long and whenever Haye does get close, grabbing him and wearing him down.
Yes he might get floored along the way but Haye isn't busy enough to win the rounds so Furys activity and work rate are key
Tyson has to keep his hands high and keep working. Use all his weight advantage during the clinches and he wins this fight on points. If he gets stupid its his own fault but the fight is his to win and I expect he will
Re: How can Fury beat Haye?
This is hilarious!
Haye gets caught with a southpaw straight left goes down, tries to getback up but face plants the canvas!;D
