Thursday night fights!

Leading into a great weekend of action we have a decent card on Fox tonight. Count on relentless gbp promos but as long as fists fly who cares. RING DA BELL

Shawn Porter 21-0-1 meets Julio Diaz 40-8-1 (29) in a rematch. Not too sure about Porter, think Diaz and even Gomez exploited some gaps in his game but this is why we rematch.

Hugo Centeno Jr. 19-0 (10) vs Julian Williams 13-0-1 (7) in a damn fine Jr. Middle scrap. Williams had a tough go and massive learning process with Alcine last out and had it been a 10 rounder might have lost his 0.

Badou Jack 15-0 (10) takes on Marco a Periban 20-1 (13)! Thought Periban did better than given credit for with Bika and I liike him in this one. Should be a doozy.

Centeno-Willaims has my interest the most. But it's 3 very solid fights

He has a little left. Way more than I thought he did. I thought he done in 09 when Rolando Reyes stopped him. Losses to Victor Cayo and Kendall Holt pretty much confirmed it. Than he did what many thought was a foolish move and went up to fight at 147. Since than he's drew with prospect Shawn Porter and than he goes to England and drops Amir Khan in a close loss. A case can be made for him winning both fights.

I had written Julio off a while ago, but I was very impressed with the performance against Khan. No real case for him winning, but he was way more than game.

Charlo is there to be countered. He gets his weight up on his left foot when he jabs.

De La Torre landing more rights than Charlo would like. Not alot of work from Charlo but like his range

malinaggi has his head in his ass. You can close on charles real easy; slip his jab and close. He puts his weight on the front foot, so his right hand will be delayed. He has to rock back and then forward. It is a freebie.

Charlo has nothing. If my guy is fighting him, I tell him to stay out of range, don't take one step forward. Make Charlo close ground...he can't do it because of the way he jabs. Don't come to him and you'll see the way around him.

In the first he was a super middle? He needs an arse load of work but he has somethings to build off. The jab is sparse and almost looks like he keeps everything "sperated"..its not fluid as a combo. I don't know, he carried this dude, this guy knew he was on borrowed time I think which I hate to see but hes not complete garbage. Let him step up against a guy who refuses to except a roll first.

There not in any kind of hurry to get this card done. They really taking there time
