apparently he isnt real, they did him with makeup in sparring so close to a fight
so they are ducking the fight coz they are scared
He is/was Jamie Cox trainer and used to work with Booth/Haye (he's been in Haye and Groves corner).
I have been told by a very good source , that the reason Groves left Booth is he found up that Booth was not made of D.N.A like the rest of us , but he is made of theatrical makeup.
Groves said working with Booth was no longer real , it was just made up.
I'm not making this up guys.
Iv seen characters like this, that like boxing, hang around gyms and pick up bits and pieces from whoever they are shadowing but dont really know how to connect the dots. Good cheerleaders that can fool a fighter with his blagging and make them feel good about themselves but really cannot bring any substance to a fighters career or help them during a bout and are basically glorified fitness unstructors. Some have success with their fighters but thats more to do with the individual fighter themselves.
It doesnt even surprise me he's from jersey either, he's latched on to Roach and said the right things and gone from there. A good blagger. :rolleyes:
Personally I don't think Trainers that have not fought themselves at any level can understand why fighters need to do certain things.

If he's been in the guys corner before, this can't be a bad call given what happened. Still have to figure it's quite the blow for Groves, but I still give him a good chance to win assuming he comes in proper.
