Not at all surprising, you'd hope it would require a really bad drug problem for most people to behave the way he used to. The fact that he could have used a fake penis(:D) does tell you that pretty well anyone could still do the same thing in this sport, like wtf.

I'd wager that is probably true with many of the great warriors since time began. Right away I think of Hannibal. Lol on Hemingway. See now there is an existentialist gone to far. He's convinced there is no exit from life so instead of living it he ends it.

Tyson used to walk around with a huge rock of cocaine on his person and eat chunks of it as well as snort it.
Not gonna say how I know this but years ago and while he was still fighting he was seen doing it by more than one person I know ;-)

Tyson has spoke of his cocaine addiction before but he said it happened after his retirement. Sat. night prior to the Ward fight HBO is showing Tysons one man show. Should be an interesting watch. I'm going to have to tell my wife I'm sick or she's going to take me shopping on Sat. I recommend any one who wasn't around when Tyson fought to check out highlights of his defense, the guy is known as a powerhouse but he had the complete package . Id bet lot of money he was raped, I saw an interview on BBC while he was in England (the time he visited Brixton) and remember him saying that in prison he went as low as any man can go and stuff happening in there that was inhuman and that he was powerless to stop it, nearly in tears as he said it.

He openly admits it in his book and theres loads of snippets and quotes flying round at present directly from the book.

He also admits to getting far worse on drink and drugs after prison.
Just my gut feeling but I've suspected this for years that he was sexually attacked in prison.

He went to a youth center not a full blown prison, Tyson would've been older than most everyone in the place and obviously got special treatment. There are some strong clues that he was def in that kinda environment just by quotes he made post jail, whether he was raped only he knows but shit happens in prisons all the time even to high profile inmates.

I worked in the prison system for a time here in the US. I was a counselor, not a guard or anything. They alway separate high-profile inmates and sex offenders as it s a badge of honor for an inmate to get one. I didn't know Mike was in a youth facility but even so precautions would have been taken. You have a general population and a protective custody in the US prison system.

At least it was not performance enhancing drugs but he sure is a fuck up. My hero. Cunt. :(

Yes, and rape, despite what you hear, is not that common in prison. Yes it does happen but the majority of sex in prison is done willingly. Some inmates use it as currency. Don't worry, if you end up in prison you can get a blow job for a few Ramen soups.

Well if there is zero evidence at all, then it does suggest he hasn't been. Your opinion is an opinion and we all have them, but surely someone would have mentioned it and especially if he was raped repeatedly as you suggested. You would assume that there would have been some kind of gossip or something of that ilk. There would have been those carrying out the act, those assisting them as Tyson is a strong man, and then all those who would have heard the gossip. It would have got out, but not a peep in over 20 years.

I just find the fake penis thing to be a bit odd. Still not really sure what that's all about.

The fake penis is quite common in prison it is a good way to get a clean piss test as used by Howard Marks and many others ;)

In regards to the bizarre comments Tyson used to make - I think once you strip back the macho bravado and the social conditioning (particularly in his youth) you can see he is clearly a very emotional guy. A tempest of emotions on top of what, at times, can only be described as fairly effeminate characteristics. Now I'm not saying Tyson is a closet homosexual but I would bet he has some hormonal imbalance.
