A Conservative, he's admitted to smoking crack, driving drunk, there's a clip of him saying he needs "10 minutes to get rid of the body", he consorts with underworld figures, somali drug-dealers, and there's allegations by at least 6 staffers of consorting with prostitutes; Effin' guy's mental ! He does truly represent that $#!thole called Toronto, I'll give him that!

44 year old Rob Ford has got his supporters though who say he's done a lot of good for the city despite his problems and controversy. They say the positive results speak for themselves. In any case, rather than resign over unprecedented scandal, Ford's notified the public that he's NOT resigning and will continue to do the job that the people elected him to do.

We had a politician in Washinton DC I think is name was Marion Barry who as mayor of Washington was caught up in a sting and got filmed smoking crack with a prostitute. I think he ended doing time. When it was all said and done he ran again and was re-elected. You wouldn't believe that shit if you saw it in a movie. Outside of the capital area Washington DC is a war zone. I think one reason he was re-elected is because the people could give the system the finger.

When he admitted smoking crack his approval ratings went up. Personally I think he's brilliant. I'd vote for him if I lived in Toronto.

I think smoking crack is much less harmful than your average politicians day to day routine, if he does a good job as mayor then I couldn't care less what he does on his own time frankly.

The thing is Canada doesn't really have any kind of impeachment process, he'll probably finish his term. I suspect he really is in the midst of some kind of minor breakdown, or perhaps he just doesn't give a shit any more. Either way, I can respect that.
