A Groves rematch would be my choice
Froch has to fight Groves otherwise he would get criticised. He needs to rest and recuperate and then finish off Groves as he was about to take over that fight. Then he should beat Kessler and Junior Chavez and then retire against Ward.
By the time he fights all of them, he'll be about 40, and Ward will be World light heavyweight champ. Kessler is virtually retired and Based on what we saw at the weekend, Groves and Chavez both beat him. Infact, I honestly believe his only option is Chavez and I also believe the Americans think it's an easy way to give Chavez a title so that he stays marketable.Quote:

With all this controversy, I think he really needs to take the Groves rematch and win convincingly.
If he whips Groves under non-controversial circumstances, people will stop talking about "bad stoppage" this and "behind on the cards" that.
Groves rematch or retire.
If I was advising Froch I would tell all you lot to FO and play the pantomime villain like Eubank and fight De Gale/Junior but allow Groves front seat to watch it. Watch the PPV figures increase. :)

I doubt a Ward rematch would bring Froch more money than Groves, and it's not a fight he can win imo. If Chavez Jr would actually fight him I couldn't blame Froch for taking that option, but it's a longshot. Everything points to a Groves rematch really.
I'd fight my next mandatory, defend my belts. Because that's what champions should do.

Would love to see Froch humiliated before he retires. Personally I think he'll want Ward in America. If he wins (as unlikely as it sounds) he'll retire, if he loses like last time rematch against Groves and no matter the out come retire.
If they want Carl on box office in his nxt fight, he will have a rematch with groves. The part time boxing fans who tuned in won't b in a rush to pay out to watch Froch unless it's groves, Seems George won the hearts of the nation wkend he is the plucky Britt that most want to see more of again,also the way both men conducted themselves after the fight didn't help carls case for winning the neutral fan, he mentioned the rematch if that don't happen he will look even more of a tosser
