Broner by late rounds stoppage.
Opinions?
Adrien is looking tremendous and much stronger these days. I think he's filling out to a proper welterweight now anyway!

Your a total idiot!
We will see in 2 weeks time. I will tag you so you can eat crow wherever you are!
I'm not disagreeing with your prediction, but I disagree that Broner is looking great at welterweight. His last performance was underwhelming at best. Eeking out a win against 33-year old Paulie Malignaggi at 147 doesn't bode too well for your prospects, unless he learned a lot from the fight.
I'm not going to lose any sleep if Broner gets spread out like an air mattress. If ever there was a fighter tailor made for Broners style it is Maidana. I'm not sure the guy can even move laterally. Its going to appear that you are watching a fight split screen because the speed difference will be that obvious. His style feeds Broners. Look for a white object to be thrown in late and a defeated Maidana sitting on his stool looking like a human pincushion. Paulie and Rees gave Broner more trouble then Maidana will.
Broner is very good in the ring, there's no denying that and I could get behind his career if he didn't act like a foul mouthed ghetto punk.
I don't think he'll have any serious problems with Maidana, but almost anything can happen in the ring so I'll keep hoping he has some humility beat into his ass.
I completely agree with the assessments of the highly esteemed posters above. I'll only add that I found it odd Broner couldn't walk through Paulie's punches to dominate their fight. Hatton and Khan both were able to. Paulie said afterward that Broner's punches weren't very powerful for 147.
Broner never had to deal with the kind of heat Maidana will bring to the table. Maidana stuns or floors everyone he has come up against. Broner will be no different- let's see how Broner reacts when Maidana applies a bit of pressure early on and midway.
I'd be shocked my friend if that happened. Maidana is not near the puncher at 147 and he was at 140 and he's slower. He plods in one foot in line with the other. Steps in the spot of his front foot with his back foot. If he did this in the snow it would look like wolf tracks, rather then a dogs. Its going to seem like Broners about 6 feet away all night as he gets plugged while rinsing and repeating.
This could be a rough ride for broner , however common sense says if khan can out point maidana then so can broner.
Broner does get hit.
Marcos is not paulie though and will take more shots.
I hope Maidana knocks this arrogant prick out but it will probably not happen. Broner by decision.
Broner picks him apart.
The opening "tremendous" part was a little bit of bait lol.
I think Broner will go on to be great personally but as of right now I'm not sure if his power will catch up to his new weight. I think it will eventually. He seems to look more like a natural WW now.
I think the Paulie fight showed he needs to throw a higher output. When Adrien went for it he pasted paulie. Maybe his stamina was more questionable than Malignaggi's.
... as I said earlier, Maidana drops him early or midway and then we had a chance to see how Broner would react. He just got stuffed in the pocket!
Wow a lot of people really had Maidana written off
I have no idea. I'm not going to act like I picked Maidana to win, I figured Broner would pull it out. But I expected a competitive war. And I had no idea Broner would be stupid enough to fight Maidana the same way he fought feather fisted Gavin Rees.
I remember a thread made when this was announced where everyone seemed disappointed and looked at Maidana as a hand-picked patsy.
I remember asking "since when did Maidana become a pushover??"
I knew Maidana would win this, Broners just a bully who got exposed for what he is, Bullied back and couldn't handle it.
So can we now say that Khan hits harder and has a better chin than Broner ;-)
Broner got exposed for the show pony he is.
Maidana is a nightmare fight for anyone, he doesn't pull in big interest, but he's dirty and awkward and hits really hard. Always a potential banana skin for anyone.
I remember when Maidana was undefeated and knocking everyone out, I was heralding him as the next massive star, I saw him as unbeatable.
Then he got exposed as not having the technical skills to mix it with the best, but this has put him right back on the map. Good for him and to watch Broner get nailed was beautiful.
Broner then next Floyd! Ha ha ha! How's your hair now Broner?
Eating crow all day. I overrated Broner big time and underrated Maidana. Andre Berto redux.
