Goes to show you PED's can't help you win a fight. You still have to fight!
I have a feeling a lot of Robert Garcias fighters use drugs to try make weight. No evidence of cause just a hunch.
How fat are these fighters and why do they not fight at their normal weight?
Haha, what a joke. This was his first fight at 147! What did he test positive for when he got that gift over Abril at lightweight? Dude should really just retire as he's never going to see that kind of payday again or beat anyone at welter.
If you beat a guy who used PEDS if anything it's a better win, but you're not about to be objective about anything involving Pacquiao, for whatever reason.
No it's just a feeling I get from him. I'd say he encourages it. I doubt boxers are smart enough to get hold of the correct drugs to take themselves so it's highly unlikely the trainer doesn't know about it. It's just a vibe i get from him when he talks about fighters making weight.
Boxing camps are so close - they share tips about everything. When a guy gets caught doing it, does it mean his whole camp is? No, but it means that PED use is PROBABLY accepted within the culture of the camp.
How the phack was Rios struggling to make welter? He was moving up
And to think he still topped off at 160+ lbs at the opening bell ??? Fat wanker. He fought like he was stoned on hashish if anything.
We need to redefine "PED"...cause if you suck, you'll still suck regardless.
He couldn't make weight naturally... so I guess Ariza was just hired for comedy relief and the weak kick he threw at Roach in the gym. A nice way for Rios to piss away money he didn't even make yet.
So we have Pac's ex trainer juicing Rios and getting caught, now we know Pac also juiced . No way Roach does not know Pac juiced cheated. No wonder Pac avoided tests. Funny as hell that Ariza has a fighter get busted yet he trained Pac for years. Meanwhile Memo has come clean but is considered the piece of shit. Pac's fake world is crumbling fast. Arum wants to milk some more fights, Pac now needs Money (literally) Money does not need Pac and will continue to avoid Pac because he knew Pac was a fraud all along.
Bradley took the VADA test for his fight with JMM. JMM refuse to take VADA and yes VADA is the one who again catches a fighter cheating, this time its Rios.
Pac and Rios took VADA testing in this fight, Rios failed not Pac. Do you actually believe others are that big of a pac hater? You really seem like a lonely hater kid. You obviously have something against Filipinos or Pac. What is it? :lolhaha:
How fat and lazy must rios be to need diuretics to help him make weight when he is moving up 2 divisions!!!
It's not a diuretic, it's a stimulant that improves reaction time. It's one of the PEDS of choice at the minute, a bunch of Jamaican sprinters were recently banned for using it.
The authorities are taking it seriously though. Rios has been banned for five whole months from fighting in China. Shirley he'll get banned in the US too?
Rios, Margarito, Chavez Jr. = boxing's trash
Tie a rope around them and use them as an anchor for a trans-Atlantic freighter.
Who really cares? This is just weight shit anyway. The whole argument against PED's or for PED's is mostly BS. What makes the difference between a good fighter and an elite fighter has more to do with dedication, work ethic and having a hard ass head. Pacquiao and Mayweather are a living testaments.
As Kirkland just shared, this was no a diuretic used for "weight BS". If two guys both have work ethic and dedication but one uses PED's and the other doesn't of course it's a big advantage:rolleyes: Just because Rios isn't half the fighter Manny is doesn't mean this is a non issue.
Brandon Rios is also a good boxer.
According to who? Brandon Rios failed drug test after fight vs. Manny Pacquiao - ESPN
Right. Why take the word of a biochemist and pioneer of PED's who has no vested interest in the fight, over the promoter trying to provide damage control:D If Bob Arum tells you to duck you jump, and he doesn't know anything about this anyways, his opinion is worth less than mine if I didn't bother to click on a link or two.
