Arum apparently spoke about the possibility of Garcia moving up to 140lbs in a couple of years and when he does Arum would match him with Pacquiao.
Anyone else think he will fast track this as he is running out of viable Pacquiao opponents and he will have to come up with something to make Pacquiao re sign with Top Rank.
I've heard him mention it twice in the last few weeks so I think we can assume there is a rush. Remember when he started mentioning Pac/Rios we scoffed but a year later....
2-3 years. I don't even picture Pac fighting that much longer. Maybe just talk to keep people interested till something/someone else pops up?
Undisputed, keep in mind how little time it took Rios from getting schooled by Abril at lightweight to getting pummeled by Alvarado at Jr.Welterweight and earning his shot at Welterweight. Sure Rios had a muffin top, sure his sides jiggled when he threw punches and sure he had no business there but there is no outcry so why not look smaller?
The little guys don't get the money. If Bob tells Mikey he can get Pac he will be at 147 in less than a year. Mikey has already said he is interested.
The sooner the better for Pac Man here, if he gives Mikey 2-3 years and Pac is still fighting Mikey will retire Pac.
I hope Bob let Manny in on the conversation about him staying around another 3 years???

I think mikey is a nightmare for fundamentally flawed fighters like pac and gamboa.. these type of guys are susceptible of getting caught with a punch they dont see..
