Fury v Chisora set for June
Just seen that Fury is being promoted by Warren on the Feb Chisora European bill in London with a fight set for June providing they both win.
Also Hughie Fury will fight under Warren from now on .

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
I wish Fury stayed with channel 5.
-
Theres a video just popped up on youtube and Warrens saying that he will pick Tyson Furys opponent for the Feb date.
Audley ? ;)

Fury would never sink that low and fight Audley.

He wont have a choice , he's got no tv deal so Warren OWNS him.

Of course he can, then he's off the bill , no fight and no direction.
With Warren He's got Boxnations audience to further his profile and only a fool would turn down the chance to go for it.
If Fury beats Chisora in June Warren will already have it in place that he takes the baton from Del Boy.
This is Frank Warren remember ;D
Fury will fight on this bill against whoever he's told to fight.
;)

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
So they are each hoping to fight a bum on the same card in Feb, to set up a June rematch of what was a one sided lacklustre fight in the first place.. Why don't they just face each other next? Complete waste of time, Fury will have basically missed out on a whole year, no fault of his of course.
-
Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
No problem with them both having easy opposition next if they fight each other in June. A fit and focused Chisora is a great test for Fury.
Complaint about competition is common in heavyweight boxing at the moment but it seems to me no one wants to fight tough competition until they get a shot at a Klit for a decent payday. The money just isnt there so guys like Wilder, Jennings etc, get so little money to face guys like Chisora that the risk v reward factor plays a huge part. Its a shame because if it was like UFC and they were all made fight each other it would be great.

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
As id like Fury to progress. Think its daft for him to only fight 1 journeyman before June. If its journeyman level fighters until June at least have 2 of them.

Im sure he gets better preparation in sparring. The journeyman is just to showcase him before fighting Chisora. No point risking a cut or hand injury having too many fights against bums

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
Ive read that Hennessy is still promoting Fury but they are going to work with Warren on three shows.

What happens when Fury beats Chisora though? Surely Warren is trying to get a piece of him?

Not too sure what the contract Hennessy has with Fury, but theres no way he would give up Fury in a hurry. I doubt we will see much channel 5 action this year though. Eubank jnr left if I remember correctly and Hughie is going to be fighting on boxnation on these three shows as well.

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
BoxNation's audience is one man and his dog. If Sky don't want you it's better than nothing though ;D

Shame because I cancelled sky about 4 or 5 years ago. Was only watching simpsons and boxing that I couldn't watch on none sky channels and then when setanta came out and you had to pay another subscription to watch boxing that was the nail in the coffin for me!

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
Could be quite a good fight if Del Boy actually shows up this time.

Chisora will be better but so will Fury and it should make a better fight. Chisora seems more vulnerable than he was. Those punches from Vitali and Haye have softened his head I reckon. He's had some shaky moments against journeymen in his recent fights. Fury could end up doing him earlier than Haye did.

LMFAO in their 1st fight he gassed after 3 rounds and just sat on the ropes for the rest of the fight. Id say Fury wins a UD again this time. Id say hell fight like he did against Johnson, maintain distance and hold if Chisora gets close. Chisora aint a massive puncher either but I doubt Fury will want to take any risks

This is set to be in Football ground if they both come through the Feb fights.
Could be West Hams ground and fuck me Upton Park could finally see some action this year :)

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
I'd heavily favour Del Boy in a rematch

I would actually pay to see a rematch for the Euro belt.

Id be amazed if Del Boy came into this fight in anything but the shape of his life and that makes it interesting.
Neither man has any power and both aint so flash chin wise but with Furys massive (Ross wedged firmly up his asshole) weight advantage it should be a good hype job at least. I reckon Del Boy should and will go looking for an early KO and hopefully will be in shape so he can just keep on Fury all night.
Also i dont see how this is the stadium filler Warren claims it is but maybe some fireworks at some pressers and Furys mouth can help their.

Re: Fury v Chisora set for June
Oh fucking hooray, we get to see a rematch of the mouthiest, most irritating, overrated pugs in the entire world. I guess the reasoning behind this move is they won't have Haye's skill in the ring but they'll make up for the trash talk by getting that fucking mental patient Chisora in there.
Tyson Fury should step it up, fucking talentless oaf.

Yes it makes me laugh also , just proves that both Cunningham and Pajkic hit much harder than fury , they both floored him from clean shots like that one.
