Let Bob have him if he's ready for the senior circuit. He doesn't seem interested in the young lions at GBP.
Guerrero is waaaay overrated. His contract argument looks sketchy to me but gbp arent really losing anything if he goes.
He's probably been told he can fight Pacquiao if he signs with TR.
Would be an interesting fight, much better than PAC vs Rios, in my opinion.Quote:

Guerrero better not be a diva and think because he fought Floyd, he is a super star. He needs to start from scratch and earn his ranking because his effort against Floyd was terrible.
Guerrero says the only fight he was offered was Thurman on the Maidana-Broner undercard. He obviously doesn't fancy Thurman.
I understand that point of view to an extent. It's tough to go from fighting Floyd for multi-millions to fighting a young up and coming tough guy in Thurman for much less money.Quote:

I feel a little bad for him. He's more an overachiever then overrated. The guy has worked pretty hard and had he accomplished what he has in other eras he would be most likely in the bigger fights of the day. Not many people throughout history have been able to make that jump from 35 to 47 and have the success he had. I would imagine he feels a little slighted and a bit like a Gbp patsy/gate keeper. Its a pretty sad state that now it seems people do not even have options in their own house. Lara must be at the end of his rope trying to get Alvarez.
I've been touting Lara for a long time but I think he understands his value. He's a tricky fight for anyone but not entertaining to some so he doesn't sell. I think he's okay with that. I'm sure he'd like to get a Canelo fight but getting a few hundred thousand here and there isn't something to pity. I don't think Lara is pulling his hair out because he has perspective.Quote:
