Monday night fights on Fox
Looks like rebounding Fidel Maldanado jr. 17-2 takes on John Nater 13-4 in main. Pretty safe bet Maldanado will iron out Nate. Also on card is solid Julian Williams 14-0-1 vs old war horse Alex Bunema 31-10-2 who if anything is still stubborn and it'll be interesting to see if Williams can bowl him over. It'll be an ok watch. Errol Spence 10-0 is set to add some more gloss with Peter Oluch 12-6-2.
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
Well wonderful...Williams fight not being shown, or it fell out. There goes that :p
George Sosa 13-5 (13) vs Terrell Gausha12-2 (6) middles going 8 up now
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
I wish Gausha would stop yelling. Hes making me root for Sosa.
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
That was a decent 4th for Sosa until the last minute, oh boy...now they are claiming split glove???
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
Its almost comical ;D Feel like I'm watching those old Sunday morning Kung fu movies as a kid.
Not bad comp for only 8th fight, Sosa is serciveable, Gausha has much much work to do, very spotty and too compact

Totally, thinking of most fighters on the mic...I think he blows the majority away. Very balanced straight forward tips and insight, no bs frills or gimmicks
Errol Spence is looking to really have his way with Peter Oluch, two different levels and worlds
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
Oh nice crisp shots by Spence. Kid has a feel about him
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
I may eat my foot...but I think Alvarez v Angulo at this point is majorly overblown. No Canelo fan, but I think he knocks him out early
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
Wow! 15-169 the record of guys beat by Nater...:peeker: :author:
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
Maldanado jr drops Nater twice in route to a tko win, really was one way traffic the entire way. Frankly the entire card with opponents not winning a round this entire card. We knew this series would be heavy loaded for GBP fighters but this was a sparring tilt
Edit: someone backhand Tompkins for saying Maldanado jr might follow in Johnny Tapias footsteps :twak:
Re: Monday night fights on Fox
We have Fox here but they show no boxing. Is this a fox sports channel? Or normal channel?

It's Fox Sports 1. It has a good assortment.
Thanks, that is a shame we have not got it. Is the channel like a cheaper version ESPN but better than ABC boxing?

It fancies itself competition and is fairly new, bought in a "package" deal on cable at least locally. They do alot of mma also and Gbp has its niche on fs1 and Fox Deportes. Espn has a more level playing field and better bouts thus far and is a staple in development, but the more the merrier if you ask me.
