Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
Mayweather vs. Khan/Maidana, Pacquiao vs. Bradley, Canelo vs. Angulo or Martinez vs. Cotto?
-
Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
Not that it will be a PPV in the UK but the fight I am looking forward to is Martinez v Cotto.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
not particularly interested in any of the PPVs so far so I'll just go with the fight I'm looking forward to most
Froch/Groves II

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
I think Brad v Pac is going to be a great fight. Tim is going to attempt to redeem himself for his first Pac "win" and Manny, although he may not be as reckless as he can be, needs a big win. There will not be much clinching or pauses, as long as these guys are vertical they will be punching.
It's always nice watching Floyd fight but most of the time, well all of the time, we know what will happen and I don't expect anything different with Floyd fighting either Khan or Maidana. I do expect Pac to defeat Tim but in no way is Pac v Brad a forgone conclusion.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
none are really that exciting and half of them shouldnt be on PPV. i think that the floyd card will be the best though so im going with floyd-maidana.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
Haven't you heard?
PPV boxing is dead outside of Mayweather and Pacquaio.
-
Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
looking forward to them all other than mayweather maidana as it would be so one sided
i would probably be looking forward to mayweather khan most
probably only the khan would be PPV in britain

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
Sergio-Cotto then Canelo-Angulo :D
-
Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
the question should be rephrased to "which PPV fight are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014 notwithstanding that some of these fights should not be on PPV."
then my answer would be canelo vs angulo because it will be the most exciting.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
None of these fights are worthy ppv, the fight I want to see is Sergio v Cotto.

They're seriously taking the piss with the Canelo and Martinez PPVs. Manny versus Bradley edges Floyd Whoever. I'd rather see Floyd humiliate Khan rather than Maidana but Khan doesn't deserve the payday and Maidana does.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
I am [probably most-highly anticipating the Cotto-Martinez clash. I think Martinez has slowed down enough and Cotto looked good enough in his last fight, that this might have greatness to it.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
Cotto Martinez hands down. Frickin awesome fight.
Froch vs. Groves II a close 2nd but I have a feeling it'll be anti-climatic in that it'll end on a cut or another stupid referee stoppage or something. I have no faith in British referees anymore.

im not seeing. the huge excitement about the sergio-cotto fight. both seem past their best. cotto is too small for that weight class and sergio should easily win. i just dont get the excitement. im not saying that its not a good fight but its definitely not a fight that im eagerly anticipating.

You know what. Here is my thought, Sergio has grown into a middleweight, but he'll never be a big middleweight. Cotto grew into a junior middleweight. Thus, while Sergio is a bigger man, their sizes aren't too far apart. I think Cotto has a style that should give Sergio some problems. He's a good boxer/puncher and Sergio had problems with Macklin/Barker fighting that way until he figured them out, and even though he is smaller, I have to think Cotto is a better boxer than both those guys in a p4p sense. Put in the fact that Sergio has slowed down and his knees are going fast, and I think Cotto may be getting Sergio at just the right time. If this fight had happened a few years ago say at 154, I probably agree with you, Sergio eats him up, which is why Cotto ducked him, but now, I think the fight is more even.
We have to commend Cotto for going for greatness. It's something other notable boxers of this era have not done. Going for greatness should be recognized.

i agree that cotto always fights the best guys he can and so i understand the fight for both of them. maybe most people are thinking like you though. that sergio will have slowed down enough for cotto to have a chance. its possible, but unlike you, i think that the style is in favor of serigo mainly because of the size difference. i believe that sergio is a small middleweight but that cotto is hardly even a light middleweight.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
I saw the Tyson Fury card was $29.95 last weekend on PPV. Had to laugh at that one.

Re: Which PPV are you looking forward to most in the first half of 2014?
Pacquiao-Bradley is the best fight, but Top Ranks undercards are usually poor.
If there's a good undercard for the Mayweather PPV, it will be the best. Golden Boy sometimes stacks their PPVs.

Just thought it strange that a card like that would be in in America. Let alone PPV.

Do agree with you that the Pacquiao vs. Bradley rematch will be an exciting and action-packed rematch. Pacquiao seeking to settle the score against Tim while Bradley's attempting to prove his win in the first was not a joke.
Well, the rumble is finally on.
