Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
Chump-ez Jr has a problem. hat has nothing to do with being in tremendous shape or not. Mentally he is just not there. NOt focused, not serious, a trumped-up son of an all time great.

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
beating vera proves nothing. vera is a bum.

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
I want to see GGG fight Chavez JR , great power v great chin.

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
JCCs last 6 opponents and the collective record over each of their last 6 fights read 34-2-0
He doesn't hide away from records.
I debate his seriousness though.

thats really trying to reach for the quality of his opponents. just because you have won a few of your previous fights doesnt mean that you are good or that those wins were even quality wins. sergio is the only good fighter he has faced and he got destroyed.

Just because the PR on how great his opponents are/were, doesn't mean they aren't good.

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
Vera is not a bum, he's really crude and a bit of an overachiever, but he beat Jr in the first fight at a handicap.
I don't doubt Chavez will win the rematch, he is a much bigger man who can punch, and he has to look good if he ever wants to be taken seriously in a big fight again. If it's at all similar to the first fight Jr may as well just retire.

Tell ya what I'd love to be ringside if you had the cojones to get in there with Bryan Vera and repeat that statement. ;D
Anyways Chavez did NOT beat Bryan Vera he got his ass kicked Chavez got a diabolical decision. Chavez will need to be 100% mentally & physically to genuinely beat Bryan. So far in his career he's just leeched of his fathers name which got him wins he didnt deserve

Ok lets be fair here If as you guys say Vera is a bum then what does that make Chavez jr?????? Bryan Vera kicked his fat lazy ass all over that ring & ended up getting shafted.
So far Chavez jr has live4d off hid Daddies name & one lucky punch against Martinez that made him look decent to some that forget he'd had his ass handed to him for11 rounds
-
Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
If vera listens to shields and follows instructions to the letter instead of the breaking focus like last time, The decision could be wide. Last time, Jr. Was out of shape, but vera was boxing circles around him too. Only chance Jr. Had of really pulling off a win is when vera was trying to show he could be tough guy too and display heart. The tragedy in all of this is that vera doesn't have power that counterbalances Chavez's weight/size advantage. Should be the first Jr, robbery without godfather jose if vera outboxes him again

Chavez definitely didn't get destroyed. Hell of a fight. Chavez about finished Sergio in the last round.

A bum doesn't beat three former world champions as Vera recently has. He's a good fighter with a ton of heart that allows him to fight above his level n be competitive.

He's a fringe contender and borderline top ten at his very best.
Idk how you can't like the guy.

You don't like crude fighters without boxing ability then why the hell you root for junior? Vera beat him fair n square and got robbed, if junior was out of shape then that is nobody elses fault but his own, I hope vera does a number on him again!

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
How can anyone begrudge Versa, he has fought hard to get this type of pay day, no silver spoon, just got an opportunity and he has taken it. Hope he invests his money wisely.

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
Someone said they do not like crude untalented fighters. I disagree. I'd rather support a blood & guts fighter that gives 110% every time in the ring than support leeches in the sport like Chavez jr & Mayweather jr. Fighters like Vera, Margarito etc came up the hard way They EARNED all they got . Others like Chavez & Floyd have been protected & mollycoddled throughout their careers. Theyre not FIGHTERS in my book theyre Prima Donnas

This is the single most messed up thought process I've seen in 10 years of reading message boards. Margarito didn't earn shit the hard way. He cheated in the most vile and disgusting way. He's a punk and a coward.

If your definition of a "hell of a fight" is having someone masquerade as a human punching bag for 11 and half rounds before finally landing a desperation punch, then yeah..... it was a hell of a fight.

the fact that the bum beat Jr the last time out says everything you need to know about the Silver Spoon one, yet you think he's a world beater, Vera is a bum who worked his way into big fights, Chavez is a spoiled bum who has had everything handed to him, so I prefer to back the guy who won the last fight...Vera

I'll say the same to you as I have the other mindess idiots.
Show me one iota of proof Margarito ever cheated???? You cannot That worthless lying POS Richardson couldn't produce the "BLOCKS" he claimed he saw The CSAC couldn't produce the "tainted wraps" when asked by Margarito's rep. They claimed to have "Mislaid " them ROFLMAO
The only cheats that night were Richardson the CSAC & the juiced to the gills Mosely who they let slip through. If the CSAC had any illegal wraps they'd have indicted Tony Margarito & I'd have been one of the first to condemn him. But they never did have any.
Tony Margarito is a FIGHTER!!! If you want a punk coward look no farther than Floyd Mayweather jr

You can talk all you want but you aren't saying shit. Your boy didn't even deny it he just lied and said he didn't know. If you want to stick up for cowardly cheating punks go ahead but you're going to have to expect people to call out the nonsense. Since he earned everything in your estimation let's skip over his cowardly punk cheating and look at him "earning".
Shane knocked him out, then he fought a bum and looked terrible against said bum but he simply moved up and fought Pac for a vacant title. Most sane people would say he did nothing to "earn" the ranking that allowed him to fight Pac for that title.
Then Pac kicked his ass in that unearned title fight. What happens next?
He's GIVEN another unearned title fight against Cotto and Cotto kicked his ass.
Tell us about how the coward punk cheat earned things or are you not even going to try to defend your stance?

Who? Chavez' people? To try make his shite performances more credible. Get a grip. Just because someone says he beat Chavez doesnt mean they are pumping him up. He is what he is. A gatekeeper to middleweight contenders. Not supermiddleweight wannabes

Re: Chavez Jr in tremendous shape.. Vera in deep trouble
just to be clear, being a bum is an expression by meaning that they are nowhere near the top of the weight class. obviously vera isnt a terrible fighter, but he isnt good. he is alright. and i dont think that chavez is good either. he is probably between alright and good when he trains. when he doesnt train, he is alright.

He doesn't hide away from records.
I debate his seriousness though.
thats really trying to reach for the quality of his opponents. just because you have won a few of your previous fights doesnt mean that you are good or that those wins were even quality wins. sergio is the only good fighter he has faced and he got destroyed.
Chavez definitely didn't get destroyed. Hell of a fight. Chavez about finished Sergio in the last round.
did you watch the fight? sergio easily won every round except the 12th and that was only because he decided to punch with chavez. i think that still constitutes a destruction.

Yeah that fight was a complete clinic for 11 and a half rounds, now don't get me wrong it was great seeing sergio do work but a "hell of a fight" it was not/
