NBC fight another mainstream boxing match? That must be good to see.
Glazkov was lucky to get a draw with Malik Scott. Adamek is small, but he's a hustler and he'll just plain out work Glazkov
Does anyone else feel Adamek is a bit overrated? I felt he got very lucky to get the decision against both Eddie Chambers and Cunningham
I think we'll see Adamek win a close but deserved decision ;)
Good scrappy fight! Glad they got it back on track. I like Glazkov, though he took some real dumb right hands from late sub last out. His body work is solid and think he's catching Adamek at the right time.
pretty sure chambers tore his bicep early in that fight too, i only saw the first few rounds though...
I dont think adamek has the desire anymore and he even said himself he is just looking for money and doesnt care about winning a world title anymore, which is fair enough but i wonder if he still has the determination to win anymore... it makes this fight pretty close, i have been impressed by glazkov poor showing v malik scott though, looking forward to seeing if glazkov can be a real contendor here.. I voted too close to tell btw :S
The NBC telecast has a decent co-feature: Chilemba vs. Grachev
Adamek looks to be in excellent shape:

Adamek is passed his best. He's pick and choosing who he fights now. Scott beat Glazkov, but Adamek is facing Glazkov. There's a reason behind the decision. I like the upset special and I like Glazkov even though Adamek should be favored. Frankly though, who cares? Adamek won't face a live dog any more. I know he has in the past, but at this stage of his career, he's done doing it. I like Adamek too. I thought he beat Cunningham in their first fight and I thought he beat Chambers too.
Glazkov is the epitome of ordinary and id be stunned of adamek lost to this guy..
Only way adamek loses is if his mind aint right and he ends up just going through the motion..
Glazkov sucks..
I think Glazkov will outwork Adamek over 12.
Tomasz has shown obvious signs of slowing down in recent fights...I think he's passed it. He can still beat guys like Guinn but against a "live" opponent like Glazkov his age will show.
The Interviewer here...says he saw Glazkov hurt Adamek in sparring.

Tomasz Adamek: "I am very happy I come back to Sands Casino. We had a good camp. I'm healthy. I believe we make a good fight with Glazkov for fans and for everybody. My dream is to be heavyweight champion."
Vyacheslav Glazkov: "I am very glad our bout is finally going to happen. I am ready for it 100% and I am ready to show good boxing." [Vyacheslav regarding sparring with Adamek] "It was long ago when we were in the ring (sparring). When we go in the ring this time it will be a war. I've had that experience before when I was fighting in the amateurs with my friends and my close team mates. It's not news to me."

This is a good fight... means more for Glazkov than it does for Adamek.
NBC telecast starts in about four hours, 5 PM Pacific and 8 PM Eastern.
Anybody who needs a stream PM me.
Grachev literally looks like an exact Rocky Gannon here. Its a trip.
Grachev has been outboxed in most rounds, but he's still dangerous going into the 9th round.
Glazkov-Adamek has been a great fight so far, both landing hard shots. I have a feeling neither man will be the same after this one.
Glazkov slightly ahead here ;)
He is seriously putting the wood to a one eyed Adamek in 9th. Brutal
The judges scoring was fair. :thumb:
I had it 116-112 for Glazkov.
Adamek has the heart of a warrior, he gave it everything he had in the late rounds even though he'd been badly hurt.
Sounded like an exciting fight!
Tomasz Adamek UD
Slowing down sure. But fought a much higher calibre of opposition and will take it based on extensive experience rather than athleticism.
A small HW and not a puncher but one with a good chin and very well rounded skills, you don't become a multiple world champ for nothing.
Adamek has been very good, but he did look old today. At HW he relied on being smaller, but quicker and throwing better combinations, but he has slowed down a bit. I thought it might be stopped after about 7 because of the eye. He was eating jabs like a child addicted to Jelly Babies. Stop eating them Tomasz, it gives them diabetes! Though in this case it was a very bad eye.
I don't think Adamek has anything to offer really if his output is down. He is too porous and at HW, you don't want to be eating punches in your late 30's.
He's had a great career, he isn't going to be winning belts now.
