If Mayweather fights in September...it won't be vs khan
Mayweather: If Khan Can Impress Me, He May Be Next - Boxing News
Firstly, Khan never ever fights in September because of Ramadan and he would have been fasting and spending time with his family. Mayweather is know to fight in September so this counts Khan out of fighting him then.
Secondly, they want Khan to fight Broner and that's not going to happen because Broner is going to 140 and khan is going to 147.
So who's floyd going to fight in September?

Of course. When Floyd's ready, that is when the fight will happen. Arum or no Arum.

If no arum the fight would happen.
Re: If Mayweather fights in September...it won't be vs khan
Arum has very little to do with it. Its 95 % Floyd 5 % everyone else.

Actually ramadan doesn't have a set date and probably been a couple years since it last was in september, this year its in july.
I know this I mean he won't be ready by then because of it starting in July

Re: If Mayweather fights in September...it won't be vs khan
Come on. Its Floyd's fight when he wants it, the end. Nothing about that is gonna change. He's driving the bus has been since the beginning. If you think that if Arum disappears, then this fight can get made, you're as gullible as he thinks you are.

The fight would be made under floyds terms nobody else's because he's p4p number one and as he said before he's earned his stripes. Pacquiao just got KTFO out by Marquez who floyd schooled...why should he be in control of the bargaining?

Never implied Pac should be in control of anything, he absolutely shouldn't. I just find the "I won't work with Arum" line laughable.
Re: If Mayweather fights in September...it won't be vs khan
If Cotto beat Martinez, Floyd for a middleweight title.
If Bradley win, Floyd can offer him 10 million FLAT
If Molina beat Canelo in June. Then Molina
Garcia if pops start talking trash to Floyd Sr

Why Arum and Floyd don't have a relationship and Arum wont work with a fighter outsider toprank especially Floyd when he gets help off goldenboy to stage his fights.

The Martinez/ Cotto winner has to be in Floyd's sights :-\
Garcia needs to start putting his case forward
Pac-Bradley winner has to tell Arum to step aside

Cause Floyd was gonna work with him if Pac took the 40 mil, he was gonna work with him if Pac took the test. Its just another in a long list of excuses that everyone involved has made time and time again.

It's possible that in trying to negotiate that fight that Floyd was reminded of how much he hates Arum because of his dirty thieving manipulative ways and then decided that he would never do business with him again...
I think Floyd was willing to work with Arum but Arum jerked him around with the "fear of needles" - no drug testing and the 50/50 split purse and the we're building a stadium for the fight bullshit and Floyd decided that he's had enough and has walked away from Arum forever. Floyd certainly doesn't need Arum to be the highest paid athlete on the planet. Why would he help give him any money?!

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if Arum disappeared off the face of the earth tomorrow I don't think we would be any closer to this fight.

If Arum disappeared off the face of the earth tomorrow and Manny agreed to the testing and took $40 million then I think the fight would take place in September. Thats assuming he beats Bradley... If he loses to Bradley then he's only making $12 million. HAHAHA...

I don't think he's getting 40 right now. 40 was before Juan face planted him. If he'll take 12 he'll get it done with or without Arum
Re: If Mayweather fights in September...it won't be vs khan
Floyd is fighting his last few fights in the comfort zone of welterweight. He does not care about legacy and competitiveness. Joe Calzaghe fought 2 undefeated young fighters and 2 legends at their weight. That is how you go out in style. Floyd should fight a light middle and face Lara.
Floyd is a waste of time, talent and space.
