Of all the SuperHeavyweight contenders, does Fury have the best Boxing skills?
This is another reason why I like fury. Not only does he sing RNBs and knows how to entertain outside the ring, but I see technical improvements after each fight.
U saw him sticking that jab against abell? For a such a big guy, his movement is pretty fluid and he's not all that slow either. He was like a giant Ali against abell.
Dude is so big that he can't help but to be clumsy sometimes but overall, he's a lot more capable than other guys his size. U gotta admit.
Is fury the best pure boxer out of the super heavy class? Wlad excluded of course.

I don't think so at all, Abell is basically a bum, he should certainly meet your criteria for it at least:D Fury tries, but he really is wide open and manages to get tagged pretty well every fight, I wouldn't call him fluid at all. I have no idea whether he'd beat anyone like Stiverne, Arreola, even Wilder, just anyone who could land something big. I'd also nominate Bryant Jennings, Pulev and probably Tony Thompson as better boxers than him, outside of Wlad. He would still have every chance against most of those guys I'd guess though, but he's in just about as tough against Chisora next perhaps.

Fury is a prime example why "Super" heavyweight will always to the literal oxymoron and no need for the added division :-X

I know what your meaning Finito and at this very point in time I think it might be true.
Peoples definition of SuperHeavy will differ but if your talking greater than 6'5"+ 240+ lbs type of "giant boxers" then yes I think Fury could be the man.
He is no giant oaf, he knows how to box.
He is much better than ridiculous David Price, could beat Tony Thompson today I reckon and whilst might be troubled by Wilder's power and initial rush.. I think Fury is technically the superior boxer there.
I am not sure how Fury would handle a guy like Pulev though, at 6'4" and 240lbs himself he might qualify as "SuperHeavy" too.

No I believe there are many more skilful.
Povetkin, Solis despite his laziness, Wilder is less rugged and more controlled.
Fury has picked his opponents very very well.
A lot of his opponents have been quite old, small or out of shape. His best win to date is still Kevin Johnson who Chisora beat just as easy and knocked him down.
I still believe Fury is a little overhyped, but I he has shown me something recently which has been better.
I still believe that when he fights a skilful puncher that he will crumble. Arreola, Haye, Willder or maybe even someone like Jennings.
He has been better recently, but he needs to get his fat ass in shape and guard that chin like the pope lives in it.

Not all of those opponents are what I would call Superheavy though Vendettos.
Some of the more conventional sized boxers are certainly more skilled but Fury is comparably capable as they are still because of his size.
Your comment about Wilder, sure Wilder is powerful but not only is Fury more skilfull he is also much bigger. Wilder is a skinny beanpole who without roids would resemble something like a Ernie Terrell type body.
I think if Fury survived 3 rounds with Wilder, he would go on to win the fight!!

Wilder has yet to go past 4, while fury has been in trouble on a number of occasions.
You can't say Fury is more skilled, that statement lacks validity and proof.
At best you could compare them and say they're on a similar level, but I've seen nothing from Fury to suggest he would get past the 3 rounds you speak of against Wilder.

I would be very worried about Fury's ability to last a few rounds with Wilder, I admit that, I wouldn't bet a dime on Fury!!
I'm just saying from a technical standpoint I think Fury can actually box better than Deontay! He throws some crisp shots and puts together some alright combinations and fights like a proper boxer. Wilder windmills the shit out of guys period.
Sure Fury has been down by midgets and that's why I'd fear for him, then again I'm not convinced Wilder will be taking too many good shots either!!
I'm not really disputing Fury vs Wilder here more just technical skills.

I think Fury is more skillfull then Wilder. And Im one of Furys biggest critics. It all depends what you mean by skill. I consider skill just boxing ability. Who would win if they were fighting without the risk of getting KOd if that makes sense. From what I have seen from Wilder his punches seem very wild. He throws very wide hooks and his speed isnt great. Fury throws very good 1 2 punches and can mixes is up a lot. Throws a lot of jabs and then a few lead left hooks. Also throws nice uppercuts and goes to the body too. We just havnt had any chance to see anything like this from wilder. I agree Wilder beats Fury early, but also believe if Fury survives early on the balance of the fight could move in his favour.

I think Wilder is more skilled that Fury from the limited time he has spent in the ring.

Fury is skilled.
How many heavyweights nowadays do you even see mixing uppercuts and hooks who can fight inside and move and jab at range?
Stiverene and Arreola? Dont make me laugh! Stiverene is a fatter version of Berto and has a loss and a draw already that he couldnt be bothered to avenge. Arreola got beat up by little old Adamek.
Wilder? Only a couple of fights ago he was so sloppy he fell over and couldnt hit a barn door! His last fight isnt even worth mentioning but the fight before he got wobbled by a simple jab by someone Fury fought as a novice!
Abell isnt the best but Fury used him as a warm up and gave him about a months notice. Compare that to Oulev giving him a days notice and getting dropped, losing the first two roumds and taking longer to finish it. If Pulev is the one with skills and a better defence, how did he get dropped and lose rounds? Fury toyed with Abell and finished it when he pleased. I believe they purposefully let it go to the 4th as it was clear any time Fury wanted to he had Abell hurt. They wanted a few roumds but wanted to end it quicker than Pulev could muster up.

Its just plain to see that he has skills. He puts nice combinations together. Hes not a pot shotter that doesnt make for an interesting fight like Haye or Wlad.
