haha I think Evander could butt his way into the 2nd round. Maybe go for a hematoma on Wilder.

Would you not rather analyse maybe an earlier version of Holyfield against Wilder??? Dumb thread!

You call this a dumb thread? Pot calling the kettle black.
Re: 2014 Evander Holyfield vs Deontay Wilder---1st round KO?
That thread I made was a WAY more tasteful joke than this one!
Everyone knows Holy would be knocked out now it's whether he would survive a round? That's not gratifying to either boxer is it!

Your threads are pretty much the dumbest I've ever read. You'd think you would be a bit more tolerant of other peoples' threads, even if you think it may be silly or irrelevant. Do you have any creativity or imagination? This is just a funny question, imagining how long the old guy would last. I often wonder how 64 year old George Foreman would fare right now against a guy like Vivian Harris. Or how 2014 Roy Jones would do against Victor Ortiz. These are interesting to some people, even in their ridiculousness. Open your mind.

Sorry :( perhaps I became a bit paranoid because of the latest exchanges and figured there's a hidden agenda in everything. I COULD have over extended myself maybe. Carry on.......

Brock stop being friends with Max.
Re: 2014 Evander Holyfield vs Deontay Wilder---1st round KO?
First rd KO for sure and this is one fight that would put Holy into permanent retirement..
Knock on wood I hope both fighters dont get ideas.. cuz seriously, Holy could die in this fight.. this is the kind of fight that can kill him.

What about todays Mike Tyson against todays Andre Ward?
Or who would come out on top of a round robin of todays Chris Eubank, James Toney, Nigel Benn, Steve Collins, Roy Jones, Michael Nunn.

Yeah but the strength difference would be huge. Would deffinitely be interesting as a 3 rounder.
Re: 2014 Evander Holyfield vs Deontay Wilder---1st round KO?
The Holyfield that went 100 rounds with guys like Bowe, Lewis, Foreman, Moorer and Tyson, would not be afraid to go in and get at Wilder....
Re: 2014 Evander Holyfield vs Deontay Wilder---1st round KO?
Holyfield only beat cruiser weight punch bags, his record against next gen opponents with Wilders height and reach was a losing one. If he hit Lewis with his best punches and didn't even drop him, and Lewis was dropped by two men that were heavier than Holyfield but not as tall as Wilder, what does that make Joe Frazier?

Heart, no. Hard as a coffin nail, yes.
Why are you robbing graves?
Re: 2014 Evander Holyfield vs Deontay Wilder---1st round KO?
Cracks me up that people point out Holyfeild for roiding yet he never failed a test in a 26 year career. I am not saying he didn't but i am pretty sure if a guy never got caught all that time everyone he was fighting was most likely on something as well and if don't think so you then never been in a competitive environment. But yea Holyfeild in his 50's now so who knows i think he can never seen him knocked out clean never been iced before shit hate to say it they might pay him to fight him his old and shot perfect.

Yep your dead right there, Wilder is also on steroids no doubt as are nearly all professional fighters of the modern era, drugs are just a fact of top level sport these days.
Hell even in the Olympics the athletes try to cheat!
Holyfield was probably a pioneer of it that's all. We can credit Holyfield as the first to shun the old school methods and adopt the new and also one of the first to crank the juice but certainly not the last.
As for him being put away, not quite true, Riddick Bowe knocked his eyes rolling into the back of his head. Definitely an iron chin though, never seen him sparked cold!!!
Wilder would definitely do it now though in Holy's 50's but I doubt he would be able to spark a prime Holyfield!! If Lennox could not, I can't see Wilder catching him with anything big enough to do the job and he certainly couldn't wear Holy down for it lol.
