Chavez JR VS Tito Trinidad in 2014
Tito fought Roy at a CW last time so he probably can't go anywhere below SMW right now..
How big would this fight be and can Tito beat the Mexican badass?

If he did he'd need least one tuneup before Chavez or he'd have zero chance IMO.
If he went in there without a tuneup, u think he would get schooled like he did by Oscar? Or would it be just a plain beatdown..
Who wouldve thought that Tito would get fucked up by lil Jr. lol
Re: Chavez JR VS Tito Trinidad in 2014
If Chavez Jr could make the weight, an all-Mexican fight between him and Canelo at MW would be huge.
Re: Chavez JR VS Tito Trinidad in 2014
Tito would get beat by Junior now, the fight would be made at light heavy.

I think a washed up old Tito with no tuneup gets beaten down by the mongoloid.
However, the night Tito fough Joppy he'd also stop Junior.
No way they would let Tito wrap his hands the same way he did in the Joppy fight
Re: Chavez JR VS Tito Trinidad in 2014
Melon-head would win. No way Trinidad can bloat up to 200 pounds and be in fighting shape. However... that's neither here nor there because it's pointless speculating about fights between HOF'ers, and wannabe followers in their daddy's footsteps.
But nice tactic, Finita. By starting threads speculating about today's Mexican bums versus all-time P.R. greats, you seek to somehow denigrate their legacies. Won't work..... history's already been written.
;)

Not a tactic, bruh, it was just an idea and i think it's a great one.. Tito needs the money so why not.
This fight would sell itself because of the story and the rivalry between Rico and Mexico. Think about it for a sec. The old Rican warrior comes out of retirement to take on the young, Mexican bad boy..
It sounds like a movie script..
Re: Chavez JR VS Tito Trinidad in 2014
wouldn't be surprising on Chavez Jr's part, fighting a guy who is old, way past his prime, smaller, fighting way out of what was his best weight, he'd lung at the opportunity to again fight a guy like that then a real challenge in GGG, Froch, Ward, Groves, Bika, Hopkins, Stevenson, and Kovalev
why? cause he's a straight up bitch, so I know that you're not referring to him when you say the "Mexican Badass" cause no way can any fighter be a badass when you're 2-1-1 (when in reality it should be 1-3) against guys from The Pretender
Trinidad and Chavez at 154 and 160 results in Trinidad knocking Silver Spoon Jr the fuck out
Re: Chavez JR VS Tito Trinidad in 2014
Only way these two compete is if its a pie eating contest.

That is precisely the point, Danny. Because Trinidad is a P.R. legend, there's no point in pitting him against a coddled, over-hyped, cheating son of an alltime great. Let's turn it around. Why not pit Hector Camacho Jr. against Juan Manuel Marquez?? "Machito" would have to lose some weight, but so what? There's no point, right? Neither would there be for HOF'er Trinidad versus Chavez Jr.
Re: Chavez JR VS Tito Trinidad in 2014
Tito doesn't want his boyhood hero facing the " coddled " Jr because of the pain and humiliation thatll come with it. Lol.
Why are you so reluctant about this matchup, tito? Don't be scared man. Lol

The only role Melon-head would qualify for in a hypothetical Trinidad comeback is being in charge of washing Trinidad's jock. That is of course, unless you're looking for some extra income.

Are you saying that Tito wouldn't get that ass whooped today? I wouldn't hold that against him anyways.
Chavez is too much for him.

Not that Melon-head deserves to be in the same building with Trinidad... much less the same ring. But I'll humor your metrosexual ass just this one time and entertain the idea.
Scenario 1: Baby Chavez weighs in 20 pounds over the weight limit and promptly offers Trinidad 20 billion dollars if they go ahead and fight anyway. Trinidad would obviously decline.
Scenario 2: Baby Chavez gets down to the weight, but with so many diuretics in his blood stream, he pegs out the testing instruments.... rendering the fight null and void.
Scenario 3: Baby Chavez gets down to the weight, with all the diuretics..... but refuses to be tested (too shy to piss). The weight drained Melon-head gets knocked into the next galaxy by the Hall of Famer Trinidad. Although Melon-head is knocked out cold..... Sulaiman Junior, now the one that pulls the strings in the WBC, declares that Melon-head still wins the decision, and is handed some sort of bogus belt while unconscious.
Now..... how 'bout that "Machito" versus JMM scrap? I think "Machito" rips his head off.

I'm thinking that was suppose to be funny.

That's real cute Tito but for the love of God, can you just admit that that today's Chavez would be too much for him?
Admit it cuz its no shame. Give me that much.

Why are you so for Chavez fighting an old, smaller, shot, fighter? rather than one of the top guys in the divisions which would be more than willing
if someone said to throw Cotto in with Chavez Sr you'd have a tantrum and rightfully so cause it's a ludicrous idea, same as Trinidad vs Jr, seeing how Trinidad was already champion while his (Jr's) pops still had his "0" in tact....
