There are plenty of fights left for Briggs but (like Haye) he doesn't want to fight anyone worth a damn to earn a shot, he just wants to annoy his way into the mix...his tactics to get attention are old hat.

Just the other day, a judge in South Carolina ordered Briggs to pay $420,000 to his former publicist. Money problems will get you to do crazy (predictable in Briggs' case) shit. This is the boxing version of panhandling ;)

Sad, man. The guy must really need the money. Just shows had bad the division is, that this could even possibly land him the fight. The guy took like the worst beating ever against Vitali four years ago, comes back and fights two bouncers within a weeks time at somebody's hotel, starts stalking Wlad around the world throwing his shoes and screaming about being in shape, and it might actually lead somewhere:vd: Mr T himself has about as much credibility as a challenger at this point.

im fine with people talking a lot but it gets ridiculous when you are a nobody. they need to treat him like a spectator and escort him out and then not really cover the situation. at least haye was an active boxer who was on top. nobody cares about briggs anymore and he has already proven that he is terrible. i could easily go and start yelling at any boxer i want to and call them scared for not fighting me but i would look stupid. that is the same with briggs.

Briggs was obviously pretty good. I mean he did hurt Lewis. Strong guy and pretty fluid really. But he is not like that anymore.
Several American HW's would now beat him handily. Winding back the clock, sure Briggs would have a case.

No, no he's not. Saying it doesn't make it so ;D. He's a guy who was nearly beaten to death in a fight that should have been stopped and a guy who has spent more time throwing shoes and temper tantrums in public over the last month than he has spent winning productive rounds in a "ring" and/or circus tent over the last 7 years. I think Jennings for one would kick the uptight & rowdy out of him.
