I'm fighting on the undercard of a national WBC Thai boxing title fight. My gym mate is top of the bill. I'm the only boxing fight on the card so I'm first on. I can't wait now , this will be my toughest one to date.

You are a tough big bastard. Keep winning sir.
It'll be a thrill to fight on such a big card.
Good luck mate, remember jab like Wlad, have speed like Floyd and hit like Wilder.

Thanks a lot everybody I appreciate it!! I've had quite a few spars with this guy so we know each other well, so no doubt this will be a good one. I'm on at 3pm so I'll post the result after.
Those are the back of my new shorts haha.
I needed a nickname so i stole angulos haha I like it. Got my gym name on them too.
I can help you there good sir!
It's all about marketing, what are your best assets, what is your style, what kind of image are you looking to cultivate?
The greats have all played around with different nicknames Mike Tyson had: The Baby Bull, Kid Dynamite, then later settled on Iron for his prime, and post prison The Most Dangerous Man on The Planet....so don't think you're stuck with 1 name forever
Terrible Tam
Tremendous Tam
Big Time Tam
Where are you from, where do you live? What kinds of things other than boxing do you enjoy? Who are your favorite boxers?
Good luck matey
I love the black shorts makes you look like Tyson.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lost today boys...it was a majority decision , it was the definition of a shit performance from me. I was gunshy as fuck, which is not like me at all. Just couldn't get going at all. I was so pissed off with my performance it's so frustrating. I've learnt tonight though that I am boxing too far out of my weight class though...being 15 stone 7 fighting 30+ year old fellas isn't the best need to go to lightheavy and be at the right size to my weight class.
I'll be back in the gym on Tuesday...it's a leaning curve.
Never mind Tam at least you have the dedication and heart to get right back on the horse. Sounds like you know where you went wrong and that is half the battle won already. Big respect for you fella.
Even in defeat, you win.
No worries mate! MD and you thought you did poorly too...when the judges get to score fights sometimes they get things wrong. This is a learning experience for you and the fact you understand that speaks to the positive mental balance that you have that most fighters don't. Just set some attainable goals (long term, medium term, short term), work to achieve them, and you will be set.
You're living the dream mate! I wanted to have fights back when I was heavy in sparring sessions with the local pros, but just never got the chance to do it. I mean I guess I could have been thrown to Oliver McCall's son Elijah had I had a suicide wish for my first fight (The Atomic Bull trained in our gym on occasion, he's still big and solid as an oak)...but I wanted to LEARN not pad someone else's record.
