Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
Didn't see. Maybe he is enjoying a weekend night out. And why the devil not?
Watching Bellew/Dos Santos, Bellew started well, but getting caught a lot in the last few rounds.
Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
2-2. Bellew lost the last two on leaving his chin out to roost. Needs to smarten up or he could get hurt.
Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
Good punch but typical early British stoppage. Shame really.
Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
;D You really are oblivious to a guy in trouble. Thank fuck you're not a referee.
Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
And yes I think its just you who thinks Froch is 'out of it' When he's not trying to strap on a pre fight persona I actually quite like Froch's TV input.
Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
I'm just of the Steve Smoger camp and when a man is waving his arms about saying let me continue, you let him have his moment. As soon as it looks rough then dive in and save him. The UK is a little too safety first for my liking. Marquez would have been stopped in the first round against Pac if it was there.
Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
So did bellew and cleverly look impressive?

Cleverly beat the higher ranked opponent.
Bellew still looks the same, in fact both do. Its the best fight out there for both of them and it will be the same result. Both are probably punchng a tad harder and I think Cleverly jas the better chin so maybe Cleverly gets a stoppage over Bellew and then Bellew has a mental breakdown.

Why did you join a boxing forum if you don't like to watch boxing?

Those fights are already on youtube as well as Canelo-Lara from last night. Most people on here don't have Sky, BoxNation, HBO or Showtime they watch streams.
Seriously, every week I see you asking "how did the fight go?" Just saying I find it a bit odd :-\

I do not have box nation, try to catch up on BT sports every Tuesday and record ESPN/eurosport but only get chance to watch it when I get the TV from the kids which very early morning or late at night. I hate surprises and prefer to know the results to see if the fight it worth it.
I did not realise it caused you so much trouble. :)
What's up?
Re: Sky Sports Fight Night
To be fair to Master, the time difference for American based boxing in particular is hell. Only a particularly demented person can handle that. It's like with the world cup, I just go to bed.

How do you manage to watch the big US fights?

It's a beautiful thing.
I get up in the morning, drown a coffee, read the news and then it's time for the undercard at about 10am. Watching boxing is really easy for me. I give up on silly things like the World Cup, but boxing is ideal in terms of time.

Merely an observation :)
