Master, you sound like a reptilian with your talk of living to over 100 years old! :D The only non-reptilian centurions that achieve this free of child blood drinking are to be found in Japan and the Mediterranean. In the case of the Japanese it seems to be the small, balanced meals and large intake of iodine rich foods such as seafood. In the Mediterranean it appears to be a healthy climate, moderate wine, and balanced ocean enhanced diet. I recall in Japan watching TV and they seem to be obsessed with health. You have men who look 60, but are really 90 and are running the marathon. You then contrast it with China where the people are literally suffocating with a walk to the shop.
My own experiments with iodine are proving successful and I have lost around 4 kg in 2 months (not particularly heavy to begin with either, but I am vain and will never become a fat Westerner). If anything is going to kill people in the West it is the overeating and drinking, so if you can regulate that (easier said than done!) then you are going to live longer. Iodine (along with selenium) helps to regulate the thyroid system and along with boosting your body also suppresses appetite thus resulting in you eating less. If more people would supplement with selenium and iodine, then I think you would have people eating less and automatically weight would fall with minimum effort.
FIXED.
Well, you see that all the tips in the end of the day are dependant on your efforts = FLESH. This is FUNDAMENTAL. If you want a significant difference, try other ways.
My tips:
1. I can eat any food as long as I bless it. I believe it will do me no harm. I do not give a damn about all stupid nutrition tips. It is very important, even if you are not a believer. Do not send signals to your body that the food might be harmfull.
2. I thank God for my great metabolism all the time.
3. I partake Holy Communion. I believe the body and the blood of Jesus are the ultimate spiritual ways to restore contantly degrading earthly fleshy things.
Spirit >>> > Flesh
keep the calories down
massive calorie rich meals kill you early
I eat massive calorie rich meals mind
Laugh. A lot! But not so much that people think you're insane just having a good time. Delicate balance that one. Avoid stress and speak the truth. Move your legs, exercise. Sweating is good. Understand you're going to get old but you do not have to live old. Adopt a dog, or a cat if that's your thing. Don't eat frozen pizzas or garbage. Don't complain...change. Have sex, lots of it (see: exercise). Multi vitamins and omega threes! Listen to music, all kinds. Don't be a hermit. Go camping, talk a ride, walk the dog...or your cat in the park but don't settle on being boxed in by four walls. Use your common sense daily. If you drink, don't drive and if you drive don't drink. If you drink too much, get help. Don't get shot!
Tumeric and garlic.
This thread took a while to get going but thanks for some suggestions.
Living over 100 will be the norm Gandolf get use to it. I will research Iodine.
There are only calorie rich meals in my book.
NVSemin will not live to be 120, he is too focused on his religion.
Spicoli, I am always happy, optimistic, positive and see the glass as half full.
100 years?
uhhh pray for good genes
Usual boring stuff. Keep weight down. Don't smoke. Drink moderately. Exercise. Healthy diet.
IF you do all that you might live to be a very boring 100 year old.
Don't smoke, drink alcohol and eat fatty foods in moderation, exercise regularly, practice preventive medicine, avoid hard drugs, hope you avoid serious accidents, cancer, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
Two of my four grandparents lived into their late 90's but neither were mentally there for the last 10 years or so. The body was willing, the mind was not. My parents were healthy as a horse into their mid 70s. Dad still is, Mom got liver cancer and if not for being so damn healthy otherwise would never have lasted as long as she did. Do your best but a lot of it is a crap shoot after 70.
what is preventative medicine?
dark choco, green tea, anal sex.
Don't get repeatedly knocked out whilst outside, near roads and stuff. (I must remind myself of this next time around).
Don't inherit long term health conditions (shit)
Don't let people on forums wind you up (ooops failed again)
Uhm....
Deal with yourself on levels and dont allow one level to effect the other example dont allow the mental troubles to become a physical problem. If you fill your whole self up in spirit the lower energies and thoughts of being a victim have no where to manifest themselves. Also dont take everything so seriously none of us physically get out of this one alive so you cant take anything with you anyway, its a gift, its a loan, dont store stuff or you will lose.
I got on the bandwagon of the weekly 24 hour fast. Gives your body a break and lets you clear out a lot of toxins.
Bump for 2015!
Did a thread like this recently too. Was around 84/83 kilos and am now down to 71.
a) Lemon water
b) Calcium, vitamin C, selenium, iodine, and omega oil supplements
c) Breakfast and lunch of fruits and veggies and walnuts to up the calorie count and a yoghurt for the goodness.
d) Dinner - Whatever you like. Today was Jalfrezi curry, naan, and basmati rice. Plenty of onions, garlic, ginger, peppers in there
Over around 6 months all the weight is gone. I'm feeling healthy and clean. It's all the calories from snacks and booze that took their toll. Just drop that and add some nutrition and the body will love you.
I take fish oil tablets now.
