No boxing this weekend on TV. Not even British or German.
What in the world is this? No boxing on HBO, ESPN, Sky or Showtime??
How in the world could they miss a weekend without boxing? With all of these champions and fav fighters folks want to see, from Mexico to Thailand, do you mean to tell me that we can't have one championship fight or title eliminator this weekend?
How could they miss it??

Very thin pickings indeed. I have Antonio DeMarco vs Lanardo Tyner on Bein2 at 10 pm...if you're quick you can fly over to some Bingo Hall in S.C and catch Shannon Briggs padding his record with one Cory Phelps. Mike Jones finally fights after being in deep freeze, not that anyone cares ;D

lolol... even hard core fans cant get up for these ones. its a brutal week.

The Tyner vs DeMarco card has lots of entertainment potential!!! it's a good card imo
The Mike Jones comeback card ain't too bad so far. Some good starts in good matchups. The Heavyweight on the undercard looked good scoring a liver shot KO.
Rey Vargas in action also on another card in Mx.
Not a bad week considering there was fighting action everyday!

DeMarco is worth a look if its all ya have. They cannot all be premier network super stars ;D Hey if need be check out some videos. Nothing like getting lost in fights we've heard of for years but just never got around to seeing.

10 welterweight
Mike Jones 26(19)-1(1)-0
vs
Jaime Herrera 11(6)-2(1)-0
http://img1.imagilive.com/0814/jones.png
Jones dropped Herrera twice
Once at the end of the 2nd round
Once at the beginning of the 3rd round
Then things got a little sloppier and Jones got rocked
Jones always conscient about keeping his chin covered, head down
Jones badly out of stamina in the second half and almost got grinded to a TKO
I THINK JONES IS ABOUT TO GET TKOd

:o Ohhh DeMarco dropped in opening minute!! Need to see that again, if anything his chin has been very sound! Wow
Dude, THAT was a clean right hand...caught Tony cold and lazy sliding off ropes.
Re: No boxing this weekend on TV. Not even British or German.
Tyner is a mad man ;D This is good stuff. DeMarco settling and again with brutal uppercuts

I'm trying for the dickens to find the Joe Messi/Jorge Luis Gonzalez fight. Can't find it anywhere. And typically you can find most of Messi's fight on-line. I wanna see that.

It is August that is the only thing you can put it down to. Does boxing have a season and when is it from?

Boxing is one sport that shouldn't have a season... for what, now?

I agree with you but ESPN say it.

ESPN has budget constraints. But there are other media outlets. NBC has grown far and beyond ESPN with regard to boxing.
With all of the outlets, from Fox, to ESPN, to all of the European outlets that have access to international audiences, we shouldn't be relegated to no premier boxing on a Saturday evening. No way.
See why UFC is gaining ground?
Re: No boxing this weekend on TV. Not even British or German.
Crooked promoters, TV producers and scaredy-cat fighters are ruining this sport.
