Why is it so hard for people to see that in "boxing", a historically corrupt and dirty game.
I don't put it past the Money team to pay for certain privileges that makes the playing field more than uneven.
It IS the "Money" Team. Duh!
This is why I think Floyd's run, particularly within the last 6 years, cherry picking being the primary reason, is a little suspect.
Say what you want. But this is bad or boxing. Can't wait until he retires. To be honest.
Now, you can say, it's about time that a fighter cornered the game, as aside from dodgy promoters- but it is what it is. And it stinks.

wlad pays for his wins in a round about way, the money he generates makes a lot of people rich, i cant see fighters who dont make that kind of money being allowed to cheat to the extreme level he is allowed to in fights
i dont see it with mayweather tho, as much as id like him to lose i dont see how he is paying for his wins in the same way as wlad, i accept if it ever was in the ballance he mighht well get a gift, but i dont think that has happened in the fights i have seen him in

Perhaps not as much as he would make being marketed as this undefeatable fighter. People pay to see Manny because 1. we like Manny more than Floyd on a personal and appeal level. 2. Manny produces more exciting fights.
Floyd is neither likeable, and he doesn't fight with jaw dropping excitement at every round. One can easily fall asleep during a Floyd fight.
Manny has a different marketing angle than Floyd. Manny can lose and we would still pay big money for him- for all reasons said above.

I do not like Floyd and would not pay to watch him, a bit like Hopkins, but you would watch him if he was fighting someone that will present a big challenge for him. So I wanted to watch Floyd v Canelo or Hopkins v Kovolev.

With mayweather it could be argued that there are one or two fighters he has avoided but in general it's a pretty good record and he has fought some very good fighters, and he has clearly won the fights
