one thing you can say about Naseem. For all his confidence and all his brash talking. When it came time for him to be defeated he handled it with nothing but class. And that speaks volumes more then boxing could. People have been less brash and accepted defeat worse. He took it better then anyoen who was supposedly cocky etc.. wheras if you lose and don't accept defeat then it's less respectable. But I respect Hamed for accepting that loss like a man and with class.
how was the video?
It was good. Did you find it or make it or upload it..because if you uploaded it can you use megaupload so I can save it?
srry, i have the file myself but i downloaded it from a different source, not that particular link.
I would give it, but i dont know how to upload things and put it online.
I understand what your saying BUT accepting defeat doesn't make you a better boxer it makes you a better person.Quote:

Thats good he accpeted defeat and it is good for the sport.
Also if you wan't to dig out and scoop into this some more,
Did he really accpet defeat well? he sure talked about it in the press-conference & in interviews........
But IMO retiring after suferring ONLY 1 loss is not accepting defeat you till this day and for the rest of his life THAT day is the single most important day that he will not forget.........
Just ask 'BIG' George. ;)
I will always say NAZ IS NOT, WAS NOT, NORE WILL HE EVER BE GREAT.
He accepted defeat had one fight and retired. And people claim to have hated him but get exited whenever these comeback stories happen. there was a spark in boxing we probably won't see again unless Mayweather starts doing those crazy entrances. ;D Can't see Mayweather dancing with snining shoes and elevators. Closest he came was being brought in for the Gatti fight.

I can see PBF following the Naz pattern. Â Lots of bravado, cockiness and trash-talking and at the end, he will pretend after a loss that he can take it with dignity but the fact is that they live with the ghost of that defeat.
Being gifted in boxing, paired with humbleness, humility and high standards of dignity is what really make a fighter an Idol, a genuine All Time Great.
That's why some people refuse to aacknowledgethe the ATG title to some gifted boxers who have tagged the wrong attitude like SRL, Ali, Macho Camacho, NAZEEM, etc.
People who lived to see those guys, more than remember their ring craftiness they've just remember how obnoxious there were.
cc Starr, this sites are awesome, thanxQuote:

Forget this guy, you say he had class? What's classy about KOing your opponent and then towering over him. This guy is a punk and got his ass wooped by MAB and then quit right after that (don't mention that one silly fight he has after MAB).
As for PBF, I don't think he's even close to being like this clown
Naz really did need to beat Barrera to get close to being classed as a great.. he'll always be a british great but more is needed to become a boxing great, you never know..apparently he is serious about making a comeback this year, and he is only 31 (coming on 32). I'd like to see him make a comeback, would be nice to see him at a  higher weight this time..super Featherweight/Lightweight.
I saw the other day Hamed's recent picture, gosh, if he's really coming back he have to shed like 100 pounds!
classy after the fight too when he would hug and embrace his opponent. Â People who know Naseem like the_one can tell you he was only cocky to sell fights. And Naseem didn't call it cocky he called it very confident ;)Quote:

Srry for all the questions, my apologies
click on browse on the site and then select the file. then scroll down and select upload. And then wait
btw, do you have to be a member?
no, not to upload anything I don't think
k, doing it now,,,,finally found the browse button :)
well he actually didn't have a choice for that matter. if it was a close fight I am not sure if he would have showed the humility he did, its just he was so thoroughly schooled and embarrased that any attempt at excuses and alibis would have brought him more shame, so in a way he did the sensible thing and accepted his defeat.Quote:

Especially if he fought any of the top dawgz......
Something Morales never learned. Â Morales got humiliated worse then Hamed ever did in his loss and he didn't accept it like a man. Â he even thought he beat Rahee,m and that he could have continued against Pacquiao ::)Quote:

BUT
About the 2nd PAC fight you are wrong I guess you didn't stay to watch the post fight interview he clearly said his legs were gone and he felt very tired he said 'This time I lost and he won thats that, he earned the victory'Â ;)
About him wanting or thinking he could continue in the PAC fight thats just the warrior in him that won't quit he will throw punches without any hands if it came to that......Watch the signature of the person who has the PAC-ERIK last rd. and see that after the 1st Knock down Erik was clearly done but bounced around and tried shaking it off you can see him shaking his hands almost saying it's OK I'm good to go I'm not quitting....... Â
this sh*t ain't working, im waiting forever and nothing is happening at yousendit.com.
It just says

tried megaupload instead....now it says i have to wait 2 hours!
thats very true but Hamed was a borderline fraud he made his money and fame because of marketability for being an entertainer than a fighter. Morales is a legend who made his money and fame by having his fists do the talking and when you have been great your whole life and are being told that by everyone if you are to schooled that bad it poses a question mark on everything you have believed and resemble obviously this is still no excuse for being unsportsmanlike but this is how most great fighters think. Ali, RJJ, Duran, they all had huge egos thats why they were greatQuote:

they would have done that to a lot of fighters not just Hamed ;D
Well yeah but him and Paul Malinaggi really piss me off, the lack of respect and the way they fight just makes me want to beat the life out of them
yoo can save google video starrQuote:

Malignaggi is only that way to sell fights and embraces his opponents after winning the same way. Mike Arnaoutis gets on my nerves because he's that way all the time ::) Even after fights he shows his opponents no respect.Quote:

great...i waited for over 2 hours for the upload and when it finished my bro canceled the internet, i can't find the file anymore on megaupload >:(
So he only did to sell fights huh? Right. What about during the matches where he'd roughhouse an opponent when he's clearly winning, or when he's standing over an opponent looking down on him as he's laying there KO'd. Boxing is not basketball, you're not supposed to talk trash during the fight because you're both there risking your life. He's a clown and got put in his place by MAB in embarrassing fashion.
Malignaggi will suffer the same fate with even more devastation because he will run into a heavy-hitter with skills who won't respect his power and that'll be all she wrote.
He didn't loose with real dignity though, a real fighter takes a loss and does the same things as he did on the night but then they go on... and try again... keep on going... Naz though one real opponent who was a real fighter, lost and then lost his nerve and went back to fighting bums.. or should I say a bum... he's never been back since then.
If he lost with any real dignity he would have fought on and gotten back to the level were he would be put in the ring with the likes of MAB again.
