I know, I know, there are a lot of Wlad Nuthuggers. But Briggs has definitely gotten under Klit's skin. I'd really like to see this fight happen!
Why doesn't Wlad just fight him to shut him up once and for all? anything would be better than, his fights with haye, povetkin & leapai.
Ok honestly that's a little funny, and perhaps the most elaborate attempt to make a fight in history:D... Briggs is probably dwindling through his savings just trying to keep up with Wlad, he is a complete clown. You can't honestly expect Wlad to be more likely to fight him as a result of this crap, when he hasn't done anything at all since the beating from Vitali. Briggs currently sucks dude. The reason he won't fight anyone to earn a shot is because he'd fucking lose.
That obviously wasn't set up though, Wlad was genuinely pissed he got knocked over. The best bit was at the end when Briggs high tails it and says "" I fight in the ring"". What a laugh.

I respectfully disagree. If wlad can fight fighters like leapai, pineta, haye ( hayes running fiasco fight ), povetkin, then he should have no problem fighting Briggs. and I don't see Wilder or Stiverne as all that. Sure Briggs hasnt done much lately, but c'mon man, he's already paid his dues long ago. I think Briggs has a decent chance of exposing that weak jaw in a fast assault ala/ corrie sanders!! ah well, at least we agree on Klit being real pissed.Quote:

Lepai I'll give you, but everyone else Wlad has fought was better and more worthy at the time than BRiggs is right now. His next opponent Pulev, is good and would beat Briggs quite easily imo, have you seen him? I agree, I am an unashamed wladimir fan but povetkin gave a good showing in my opinion, he made wladimir hold a lot more than he even wladimir has ever done before, wlad was just trying to grab him even when no punches were being thrown.. How would it look if the guy driving Briggs' boat accidentally hit Wlad with it or Wlad got hit with the propeller? How would it look if Wlad got injured in any way at all having JUST recovered from an injury which has delayed the Pulev fight?

People can complain all they want to about Leapai but Leapai earned his shot by beating the undefeated Denis Boytsov and it was a WBO MANDATORY. Pianetta was an optional fight but the guy is a decent fighter, was undefeated...what more do you want? Povetkin took a long time to finally get a shot at Wlad but he gave a good account of himself in the ring. Point is Wlad fights good boxers, boxers who have earned their shots, and not guys who are out there for attention. Shannon Briggs can still pack a punch but he's not got any stamina, he's not got fast feet anymore, and he's not been fighting anyone with a pulse recently.
I don't care if Briggs gets a shot or not to be honest. If he gets a shot then back everyone comes saying "Briggs was an old bum, hadn't been competitive in years, didn't earn his shot he just needed a payday" and if he doesn't get a shot what then? Briggs has nothing to do, why is it so outlandish to think he's legitimately following the guy around. If he is in Florida anyways(dont they both live there part time) and knows someone with a boat, that wouldn't be hard to do. Maybe Wlad paddles that stretch of water every day he's there?
