They want entertaining fights, not boxers clamping their opponent's arms and fouling.
California is Andre Ward's home state, but Gennady Golovkin, a fearless ring warrior from halfway around the globe, has become more popular there than Ward!
There was a huge demand for tickets for last night's fight. Did you hear crowd cheering for him and chanting Golovkin's name?

Why should GGG call out Ward? Ward's in no position to fight, he needs to sort his shit out. Besides , GGG isn't a SMW, he's too short and he makes MW easy. If anything, he should call out Floyd at MW or a catch weight . GGG wants to clean up the division , but there's no takers. What's wrong with that.

Danny garcia isnt pretty to watch but he is effective.
Can we just put wards numbers aside and appreciate the fact that he wont duck anyone and is improving all the time.

I want GGG to fight andre ward.
Andre needs a big payday after all the crap he is going through so why not school GGG.
I know everyone wants GGG to be the next big thing and I reaslly hope he does well but andre ward is the man to beat...surely you realise that?

I wouldn't mind seeing them fight either but don't dress it up as if the Kazak is ducking him. That is not even possible technically. Thats like me saying Ward is ducking Stevenson and Kovalev.
In addition Ward is almost retired and is rotting on the vine and has had nobody left to fight in his own division for 2 years. Spends that time in court wasting millions no doubt fighting an iron clad contract based on its longevity. All of his actions seem to suggest a man that does not want to fight period.
The Kazak just tied Haglers defense numbers and not only that, knocked all 17 out with still a bunch of fights that could be made at 160 should the boxing gods align. Gennady does not need Andre Ward.
He already has surpassed Ward. Wards super fans are still living off the scraps of the Super 6. Oh the ghost of Andre Ward.
Ward does not deserve a payday because he's an idiot. And I completely disagree on who would get schooled.
One thing about this guy that is totally overlooked even by his own fans is his incredible boxing ability and ring generalship. It really is second to none. He's got to have in addition an incredible boxing brain in order to take the ring away from his opponent so completely. This isn't some one dimensional rinse and repeat plodder. Ward would have as much trouble trying to figure him out as 3G would him.
Leave the titles at home and do a catchweight.

danny garcia isnt the most exciting fighter to watch there has ever been, id much rather watch one of his fights tho, his offence is bassed on landing punches and trying to knock the other fellow out and i dont think wards approach is bassed on those principles

It was laughable that HBO made out that Jesus was being ducked by GGG. Everyone else on earth is scared of GGG apart from their colleague that has fought once - against the great Edwin Rodriguez - in the past two years.
Ward shouldn't even be mentioned until he proves he's not retired.

Ok, i cant defend wards boring style but we need to appreciate it in a hopkins type fashion.
Mentally and physically destroyed are two different things and I think that ward has a great mental edge and is very strong and tough in the ring as froch mentioned.
I just want to see ward do well and its a shame he cant jump on to al haymon and mayweather promotions and perhaps have a clean start to 2015.

hopkinds smothers yes but wards style is throw a punch on the way in to hold, hes good at getting the first punch off, and he goes in head first so when his opponent does try and counter hes met with the head
its obviously a bit more technical than that but im really not a fan
its very effective yes, and hes very good at it and its a very hard style to fathom out
