Adrien Broner says Manny would be an easy fight for him!

LOLOLOL.... says Manny would be an "easy" fight for him. Also says he wants to fight Manny while Manny is still in his prime. lololol.... the man has gone crazy. But, what other mega payday so close to his weight can he get?

Broner is a very smart man. He apparently is not going to be a boxing lifer. He is under 25. He wants to make as much mega paydays and large paydays before he turns 28 or 30. After that, he is going to go on with his life as something else: either business or some other entrepreneurial venture.

Odd as it sounds, I see Broner opening up chain restaurants, a management company for entertainment or some other ventures. The boy isn't dumb, you know! But, calling out Manny is more than ballsy. And it also shows he can make his fights himself without Haymon advising as Haymon does with most of his fighters.

Broner says a lot of things, like Floyd, he has an opinion about everything.
They both talk nonstop and don't seem to realize that they sound like idiots on occasion.

Broner is an idiot child wrapped in a mans body with an incomplete skillset and diarrhea of the mouth. That's been firmly established.

I agree with most of the above.

He is making the right moves and his annoying behaviour is his meal ticket and he knows it.

Broner is typical of an idiot who will lose it all. He's unfortunately afforded a lifestyle at this point that allows him to continue acting like a child. Trying to get attention, buy friends, influence people and be part of circles that require a lot of maturity to handle in order to avoid becoming strung out or cashed out. Big business is not for guys like this. Simply because he cares too much what or that other people are thinking of him.

Definitely. It's easy to see how barely beating Malignaggi, Emmanual Taylor and getting his ass kicked by Maidana has prepared him to make short work of Manny. Broner is quickly becoming irrelevant and he knows it. This is an attempt to get people to talk, but the truth is the guy has squandered his potential and is done...

I think way too much is made of Broners marketability or charisma off of his gimmick or fucktardness he leads with. That is only as successful as you are when you have to step up and back it up, shut up and fight. Win when it matters and impressively. So forth and so on. It's transparent now. Broner has some talent but nowhere near what he thinks he does. Perhaps he shouldn't have moved up in weight but for some reason he thought if he beat Paulie it would make him God of the the boxing world Some boxers pull off the stupid antics well, Ali was great at that, he could cross the line and it would still be funny. Broner is terrible at it. He must be surrounded by yes men who tell him he is hilarious. If Broner takes one or two more beatings ala Maidana he will be a joke and irrelevant.

After the Maidana beating I actually thought he had gained some humility but that was obviously not true, or perhaps it was for half a day. I think Manny landed a barrage of six or seven combos against Bradley, he could probably triple that against Broner. It's just a pipe dream anyway, after Algeri Manny will be back to bigger names. At least Broner has given us someone new to watch hoping he takes the beating of a lifetime. God, what a prick he is.I never want to see a boxer get seriously hurt during a fight but I hate to say I wouldn't mind seeing Broner unconscious, God forgive me.

Obviously the bullshit he talks isn't hurting his drawing power, since being a jackass is how he established himself as a draw in the first place, it's totally self fulfilling. You have to realize that his target market is people who are incredibly fucking stupid. There is nothing commendable about retaining that fanbase as opposed to actually winning the respect of people who are just fans of the sport. He is an immensely talented athlete, is what gets overlooked a lot. He SHOULD be a lot better than he is, but he hasn't tweaked anything and it's getting to the point where he would have had to. I'm still watching his fights because he's entertainig in the ring, but I really thought he might be a special fighter a couple of years ago and it seems very unlikely now.

You're just saying that because you don't like the guy. Broner does have major talent. What he was doing was trying to be a mature professional with young man tendencies- partying, drinking, whoring around, goofing off with his new money.

He is typical of someone that grew up somewhat poor but then got money, but forgot what got him that money: hard work and being dedicated to what you do.

That loss to Maidana had to prove he had to re-dedicate himself to the sport. He wont change over night, but this is a slight improvement on his part- aside form being nutty enough to call Manny out as an "easy" fight. lolololol..... he may have early brain damage!!

He took alot of shots in his last fight and thats his problem.

He is annoying but people will still tune into him as he is a good fighter and the majority will want to see him beat.

I don't think Broner is going to be in boxing, win, lose or draw, over the next 4 to 5 years. He's not a lifer. This is a paycheck for him. And he is doing so... and then he will move on to something else.

He will respect the sport just enough to get about 3 or 4 more multi-million dollar paydays. Trust me.

Garcia and Thurman are more typical of "lifers" ala Hopkins and Roy Jones than Broner is.

I have nothing against Broner that I can write here without getting an eyebrow two or raised so let me be as mellow as I can. I believe the saying I am paraphrasing because I don't remember the exact words goes like this, "When I was a child I did things like a child and I spoke like a child. When I became a man I spoke like a man and I put away childish things." It went something like that. Anyway, as far as being a good businessman is concerned, maybe he would be but he is not well versed in that area and neither am I if you get my drift. He did exhibit talent and I forgot who mentioned it but going back to he drawing board and fighting better fighters will determine the next two years of his life because you have to participate in order to determine if the check you wrote with your mouth can be cashed without placing your ass in jeopardy. By the way, he is dangerously close to living his second childhood too early and a steady diet of porridge is not appetizing.

It's probably Pac's biggest possible payday, aside from the fight he lied his way out of against Floyd, but I don't think he has the balls to take the fight.

I really think Broner will just fade away. His theatrics and promotion will always shine more than what he has actually displayed in the ring in vital defining moments. Any chump taking 3 punch combos off Emmanuel Taylor and deluding himself into a future of multi million dollar paydays needs a cold compress, a long nap and a day job.
