Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
We knew the outcome. It was a waste of time for Chisora, although Fury could use the activity.
Chisora could have taken another fight and be in position to fight Wlad. But now he is back down the poll, Fury is up on the easy- as stylistically he beats Chisora again and again and again- and has not fought much else between the last Chisora fight and the first one.
Who in the world was responsible for setting up that fight? They damaged Chisora for good and Fury got nothing more out of it as he is no closer to fighting Wlad than he was before.

To be fair to fury , he boxed well and showed some switch hitting. He proved he was much better than the one paced Chiz.

Rumor is that Chisora was injured before the fight, and that him and Fury privately agreed to a stitch-up.

If that's true, which I doubt, most of the British heavyweights need to change their training. They are having too many injuries, especially when they are preparing for Fury. Lol

Its utter bullshit!
He said the same crap in the fight thread and I asked for him to show proof and he didn't or rather couldn't. Chisora couldn't deal with the southpaw stance.
Like I said in that thread. Was there also an agreement that fury smashed Chisoras head in to a mess?

I am no fan of fury , however he kicked 7 shades of shit out of Chiz and that is the bottom line.

Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
The fight happened and Fury won. Tyson needs the rounds and experience to become the champion of the world which is what he is destined to be.

Plenty of people talking about it, in plenty of places.
If I had proof, it wouldn't be a rumor, would it, idiot. I would be talking to the Board of Control about it, not you guys.

Your the fucking idiot. Iv seen you mention it twice here and the only response you got was myself asking for proof.
Its yourself that is trying to start a rumour. I am quite Au Fait on things involving the Furys and have been for years to Als disgust and iv never heard this shit. Thats because its bull shit!
Like I said, what kind of agreement allows a fighter to get his face swollen and cut to ribbons and put out of action for months and makes him quit and looses his marketability?
Get real twat.

Just to play devils advocate here but does au fait mean you follow them closely on the interwebs or does it mean you'd be informed if a fix was in? Chisora didnt get cut to ribbons. He didnt take a career ending beating. If he wants it he'll be back in the Euro plodder mix as soon as he likes. Chisora threw what 3 maybe 4 punches all night?
From the man who bandied about the 'David Haye intentionally cut his own eye' nonsense this is richer than rich.

This is pathetic.
There are still some sad people who will not give credit where credit is due. This isn't David Haye who runs from fights, this is a man who tries to make fights. The only fight he's ever pulled out of was a fight he rearranged rather than not fight but then his uncle went in to a coma and later died!
Au Fait means I try to take in all info I can on Tysons upcomng fights so I have a chance to watch them live and contribute my hard earned money and not just come in here begging for shitty streams. Different fighters, sparring partners, promoters twitters and facebooks. Its all there for everyone to read and no mention of any agreements apart from a single weirdo in a single forum.
Fuck, if Eddie Hearn had heard about any "agreement" he would have released it as a "rumour" just as he did with the Eubank fight being supposedly off. Maybe it was matchroom if there was such a rumour but absolutely no one else has heard of it:rolleyes:
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
We're in agreement then Ross, thinking that a fighter would deliberately get his face cut up is ridiculously stupid.
(Unless his name is David 'Sweeney Todd' Haye)

Agreed. It's weight lifting!
Haye, Fury and Chisora and obviously Joshua too are all heavy lifters. The problem comes from their bench pressing. Zero relevance for boxing or punch power and ruins the shoulder joint and muscles like no other exercise.
Seems to be a British obsession. Soviet and American boxers seem to have far fewer issues here, smarter training. The Brits seem to see monkey see, do monkey do lol.
For contrast, by Wladimir's own admission, he lifts mainly light weights which in fact REDUCE his overall muscle mass in early stages of preparation.

No but I do try to search for as much info as I can that is readily available. Id have seen these rumours but the only place they exist is here. Like I said, Hearn spread rumours that the Eubank fight was in jeopardy on the monday before the fight. If he'd have heard about an agreement it would have been everywhere. It wasn't, it still isn't. Its bullshit and now people are clutching at straws not to give any credit to fury. It was a boring fight because Furys skill level is so much higher than Chisoras. Thats credit to Fury and it wasnt a show of grabbing, hugging and leaning that Wlad gets criticised for. It was a show of skill with movement, jabbing, uppercuts, combinations pretty much just being the boss the entire fight and never being troubled.
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
Ah Im with you. If some mug had posted it on twitter or Facebook it's got some legs right? Like Wilder (and every other fighter he's sparred with) chinning out Haye? Or Haye having someone from his own camp cut his eye intentionally. Was the cut eye thing widely circulated on the fountain of all that is accurate (Facebook) or did you make that up yourself?
For what it's worth I don't believe there was any fix. Chisora was shit and Fury boxed well.
I just don't believe that it can't be true based solely on you not hearing it from your sources that you deem credible.
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
Hold on, it might be true because I cant prove its not but this idiot Son of Bonters can just start random rumours with no proof what so ever? Not even a source of where this information came from;D
That makes sense...

No Ross, it might be true because..............it might be true. We've already established that you are in no better position to confirm or deny it than any other facebook.twitter user that's 'au fait' with the Fury clans movements.
Could SOB make this right by setting up a twitter/facebook account and announcing it from there? Of course not, that makes it no more valid than announcing it here. It should be enough for you though as that's all the criteria you've needed in the past to recycle rumours of Haye being twatted out by XYZ sparring partner. Get it?

Your completely ignoring the fact that "SOB" cant show where they got this rumour from.
There is a rumour going round that you are a naive cunt that listens to unsubstantiated rumours;)
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
Now why you getting all flustered? Play nicely.
I'm not ignoring it at all, you did pick that up from my previous posts right? The only thing that separates this rumour and the ones you have recycled here is a pony link to some knobheads Facebook page, is that fair?
I am a cunt, not a proper cunt like Fenster but I am a cunt. The rest is untrue.
-
Haye is extremely less vocal than he's ever been of late...
I'd bet a lot of money that he's looking at the division and thinking
"Fuck... I'm gonna have to fight my way into contention to get a shot at a belt"
Haye for me doesn't wanna do that and I think he realises he's way way down the rankings now and not gonna be able to leapfrog the others and get to a belt without fighting his way to it.
He's amazingly Quiet infact ...... maybe he's cut his own tounge out or something?

Like Haye cutting his own eye open and getting battered in sparring?
Those rumours were every where? Not just here, which is my point.
Where else is this agreement rumour? How many more times do I need to ask and SOB ignore it before you realise its utter shit.

Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
Ross, did Peter Fury tell you Tyson wanted to pull out of the fight a few days before because he felt ill?
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
So a rumour 'being more than one place' makes it less unsubstantiated? :vd:
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
This fight even before it was over did more to harm Chisora than it did to help him.
He was not going to ko Fury; his win would have been ugly; and in no way, shape or form would he have been thought good enough to give competition to Wlad.
The matchmakers were probably hot for a British fight of note- Haye is retired.
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
So to sum up , Ross believes the rumours he wants to believe ,and any that he doesn't like are bullshit.
-
Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
You mean David Haye lacerating his own face to avoid making a lot of money is a less believable rumour than a boxer getting paid to take a mild bearing to save the arse from falling out of a card? ???
Preposterous! Such a thing is UNHEARD of in boxing!

I didn't start it, I just reported it here.

Chisora was a mess.
Didnt deserve a payday
Rumor is that Chisora was injured before the fight, and that him and Fury privately agreed to a stitch-up.
If that's true, which I doubt, most of the British heavyweights need to change their training. They are having too many injuries, especially when they are preparing for Fury. Lol
Its utter bullshit!
He said the same crap in the fight thread and I asked for him to show proof and he didn't or rather couldn't. Chisora couldn't deal with the southpaw stance.
Like I said in that thread. Was there also an agreement that fury smashed Chisoras head in to a mess?
Pathetic how? You've basically made my point for me. You're no closer to the Fury camp than any other plum on the internet.
Id have seen these rumours but the only place they exist is here.
This is false.

Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
Again, show us where you read or heard this rumour.....

Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
Chisora was a good opponent for Fury and is much better than generally given credit for.
His record does not reflect his overall quality.
He has only lost to upper echelon boxers.
He gave Vitali Klitschko a tough battle.
And he beat (really) Robert Helenius.
He has definitely proven to be at the lower end of the top HW's now from his losses to Fury, that's all.
Fury is also much better than given credit.
However I seriously doubt Fury's chin and his punch (or rather, lack thereof) will present any real serious factor in championship boxing. I guess he could beat Chagaev for the regular belt, if you call that a championship.
Vs Pulev, Povetkin, Arreola, Stiverne, Wilder or maybe even up coming Joshua, he gets knocked out.
Wladimir or a comebacking Haye simply clown and destroy him.
I think Fury would have a good fight vs Jennings maybe because he isn't so dangerous.

You don't get what I'm saying: The fight did hurt Chisora and did nothing for Fury. Fury is no where closer to fighting Wlad than he was before. Even Fury was upset he had to fight Chisora again- and he made it a stinker so no one would want to see it again. Thank you, Tyson.....

Re: Fury vs. Chisora 2 should have never happened!
The first fight left question marks. This one cleared those all up.
Fury is better than Chisora! Straight forward! The fight certainly propelled Fury from being a bit of a joke, to being a serious contender.
Chisora is kind of like the gate keeper for the HW division now. Only the worthy elite get past him.
You have to understand that Fury's only relevance has been gifted to him.
Fury's clean slate was ordained many months ago when David Haye suffered injuries. Were it not for that, Fury would have already been badly exposed.

What question marks?!?! Fury won the first fight cleanly and almost as easily, when we compare the times and experience levels both had.
Chisora just does not have it. UK fans hyped him up, but he really is a good contender that can perform on any given night.
Fury's win doesn't mean much.... if anything at all....
