James toney calls deontay wilder sorry

Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
Oh "cool"..... two of my least favorite fat asses together at a dinner table.
I'm glad somebody had a passing interest in anything they had to say. Just don't interview them while they're eating. Nice little piece but....... couldn't they include captions next time? Slurred English is not one of my languages.
On the plus side, I guess if I have to hear one of them speak, I suppose I'd rather suffer through Bowe than Fat Ass Toney
-
James toney is a fat joke.

Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
I just want to know how I get enough pull like Dontae so I can have former champs sitting at my kitchen table eating potato chips off of paper plates ???
James is fat, but he's right ;D

Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
I'm amazed anyone can tell what old punch drunk is saying.

I find it quite ignorant that anyone who calls themself a boxing fan would ridicule those who have given us some of the best fights we have ever seen. They arent drug addicts, or alcoholics, they may have problems from taking blows to the head participating in the "noble art".
They deserve a bit more respect.

Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
Didn't like either of them while they were fighting. Sure as hell ain't gonna start liking them now that they're retired. Well.... "retired" with quotation marks. We all knows how retirement goes with fat old heavyweights nowadays. You got a former middleweight who ballooned up to a fat heavyweight because he was too much of a glutton, and too lazy to stay in reasonable fighting shape. Now that he's pretty well finished, he can't stand being out of the spotlight and has something stupid to say about everything and everybody. Only problem is... his slurring makes him comical. What he fails to realize is that no one gives a shit what he has to say. The other fat ass (Bowe) could've been much greater than he ended up being. A wasted talent who became synonymous with underachievement.
Let's just say I won't be attending either of their enshrinements into the Hall of Fat...er...Fame.

Are you saying Toney isn't punch drunk ?
Are you saying you understand him perfectly ?
Maybe its just me then , maybe do a poll.
As for respecting Toney I do , however he should have been retired long ago.

So you agree Toney is punch drunk and its hard to understand him.
My point was valid, he is punch drunk and should retire , get over it.
He shouldn't be calling out Power punchers like Wilder when he is clearly shot , it could do even more damage.

Did he call him sorry, or 'sowwwuh'

Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
Why should I, as a boxing fan, respect a fighter who himself doesn't respect the sport?
I don't give a flying one as to how good Toney may have been as a middleweight. Fact of the matter is... when he started gaining weight toward his ultimate destination as a heavyweight, he did so because he was too lazy and too gluttonous to train properly and keep himself in shape. He figured, "hey... the heavyweight division is mostly shit anyways, so let me go in there like a fat whale and use my God-given talents to win a few fights and maybe grab a belt while I'm at it." Nowadays he's a fat, slurring clown and an embarrassment to the sport.
I'll save my respect for those who truly represent boxing well and can serve as ambassadors to the sport, even after retirement.
It's called dignity.

Your a moron.
Its easy for people who don't fight the best in the world and not only that but the most dangerous fighters and actual legends to sit back like soft sacks of shit safe in the knowledge they will never be forced to repeat it to those fighters faces.
Would you and Al be brave enough to say that shit to even a "punch drunk" old fighter? I doubt it.
Your an embarrassment to boxing fans.

Don't get your panties in a bunch, rose..... just because we don't share your worshipping of fat, slurring retired clowns like Toney.
There's plenty of retired boxers out there who comport themselves with class, and speak in intelligible, coherent sentences. There's also plenty of fighters who have gone up in weight class, while retaining some semblance of athleticism in what is, after all, boxing...... not sumo wrestling.
If anyone is an embarrassment to boxing fans, it's your fawning, overly sensitive self.

Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
Boxers aren't infallible Ross, even guys who have had careers of the highest calibre.
Stop blowing smoke up arses and trying to act like some moral defender of boxers.
You can't be unbiased or even objective for a start.
You yourself have got plenty of shit to say about fighters you personally dislike whom have achieved way more than your crush ever has (often in less fights or time too) or likely ever will, yet you act like the sun shines out of his arse.
-
Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
James Toney is a legend and he has the right to say whatever he likes. It's easy to bitch about his weight and speech, but going after his speech is a very low blow. Boxers get hit a lot and seldom know when to retire, the way it will always be. 'Hahahaha, how funny....he slurs his words!' So what, he is still a legend and always will be no matter what he says or does. Very few people can have that said about them. The man has been in great fights and though he hasn't always won, he mostly did. You don't see Toney sparked out, you don't see Toney acting all careerist with a 40 fight career. That man is a fighter and even if you don't like him, you have to respect him. He hasn't always been old. Plus that man has milk!
-
Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
Exactly.
You have a handful of predictably ignorant persons in this thread.
-
Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
Bowe and Toney speak the truth todays fighters are poor and the ones that are good are taking up easier sports.
-
Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
When we talk about ignorant posters, are we talking about the ones that want to stick their head in the sand and ignore Toney's PED use? ???
-
Re: James toney calls deontay wilder sorry
What is ignorant is someone arguing with the fact Toney is punch drunk and should retire.
I respect his career , however he is now just a trash talking fat guy.
FACT.
