Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
Hearns offering Khan £4.5 Million and willing to let him co promote.
Safe to say it's 100% Mayweather, Pac or Brook next for Amir :)
Amir Khan is promised £4.5m to take Wembley 'superfight' against Kell Brook - Telegraph

If Mayweather/Pac don't fight Khan next then Amir has to take this fight, I doubt he'll wanna speak about a June fight with Brook until he knows.
Huge money in it for Khan and a world title belt up for grabs.
I think he boxes Brooks head off anyway and takes his belt pretty easily so he's in a prime position.
I'd love to see Mayweather out of his comfort zone and fight Khan in front of 80,000 at Wembley.
He said after Froch/ Groves 2 that he'd love to fight at Wembley but I reckon now its on a plate for him we'll just hear more BS excuses to swerve Khan ;)

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
Khan wants floyd/pac.
I think khan deserves a shot at both because of his style.
4.5 million for khan just cant be ignored but lets hope brook can get another fight in before after that post leg injury..
Why is brook such a threat to khan anyway...did he really beat porter.?..nope

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
Brooks is a very real serious threat to Khan. Amir has improved since his first fight at welterweight and I am not so confident that Kell will win now. It is a lot closer.

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
Khan said Hearn needs to stop being disrespectful, he shouldn't book stadiums in advance, Amir Khan is the A-side, Amir Khan will call the shots, Brook is not on Amir Khan's level, Amir Khan is a star in America, Amir Khan has just sold out Las Vegas.
He sold 4000 tickets in a 16,000+ seat venue and didn't rate in the top 20 TV viewing figures for 2014 (Showtime/HBO).

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
I can understand Khan wanting Floyd and Manny but I hope they both fight each other and Khan then has to turn around to the B side. :)

Khans best financial bet is to box in the US against PBF or Pac, trouble is PBF and Pac know that! Not a good negotiating position for a three time loser.
Khan versus Brook is really a boxing fans fight in the UK, and I'm not sure it will out sell Froch Groves, but good luck to Hearn putting the 'bid' in.
Talk from Khan about being disrespectful is his normal full of himself bollox, who the fuck does he think he is?

Was wondering what the truth was in Floyds comments last week about the MGM not being sold out and seems it didn't - infact nowhere near and people it seems chose the Bradley fight instead.
“Viewership for Sat’s @SHOsports #boxing card: Khan-Devon averaged 762k (887k peak), Thurman-Bundu 650k, Mares-Ramirez 566k,Charlo-Bottai 451k,” said Rafael on his twitter.
Bradley vs. Chaves brought in healthier numbers with 966,000 viewers with a peak of 1.087 million. Those aren’t bad numbers considering that Bradley was fighting a little known guy in Chaves.
“Viewership for Sat’s #boxing cards: @hboboxing Bradley-Chaves averaged 966k viewers (1.087M peak), Lee-Korobov 849k, Benavidez-Herrera 807k.”
Just makes Khan v Brook all the more likely now unless Pac throws Amir a bone ;)

It's Mayweathers claim but i did try looking around on Google the other day and found no concrete evidence, Khan said it sold out straight after the fight during his interview

He is exaggerating or lying as we call it.

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
The official attendance was 7,768 - so regardless of what Khan says it was under half full. And that includes all the freebies, which is apparently shitloads in Vegas when they haven't sold out.

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
I wonder what kind of deposit you have to put on booking wembley

Don't let the truth get in the way of building good propaganda. Floyd is ducking Khan even though Khan doesn't get ratings, doesn't sell tickets, doesn't have a belt and isn't a mandatory. How does Floyd manage to duck these men that have such a rightful claim?

The men in charge not having the balls to enforce the regulations.

To be fair, part of that is Alexander. I remember the struggle to get rid of Bradley - Alexander tickets a few years back. I think iirc they sold a ridiculously low amount before they started giving them away. Truth be told though, Khan is a much bigger star in his own mind than he is in real life. That said, he is still clearly the draw when it comes down to a head to head with Brook.

this might sound daft but I don't think Khan himself has a rightful claim to face Floyd - but his style does

Floyd already had a poll asking his fans if they wanted to see him fight Khan. Fans said yes, Floyd fought Maidana
-
Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
I also think Floyd's earned the right to duck him too - if that make sense
-
Eddie Hearn is boxing Floyd off here and into a corner if you look at it in a business sense.
Floyds only got a few fights left and Hearn has booked Wembley.....Khan is out of contract with Golden boy now as the Alexander fight was his last in that contract so he's a free agent. Next time Khan fights is gonna be in the uk I reckon and with or without Brook I'd bet a lot of money that Hearn is involved ;).
Might be a genius bit of promoting going on here ;

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
Garcia, Peterson or Breidis Prescott

garcia perhaps, prescott and peterson not in a month of sundays
so between us weve come up with one
add manny to the list
theres 2
so in the whole of boxing theres 1 fighter who deserves a fight with floyd more than khan and another that you could argue either way
so that probably concludes that khan fighting floyd is a legitimate and deserved fight
(plus what did maidana, guerro, alverez, ortiz do to "deserve" a fight with floyd more than khan has?)

Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
You know what I stand corrected on this one - you're right.
I just looked around and he is the logical opponent.
A lot of it stems from my dislike of Khan and the fact he might just get Floyd at the right time and get the UD.
Would be unbearable.
Petersen and Prescott was tongue in cheek by the way
-
Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
logical opponent after Pac of course
-
Re: Wembley Stadium booked for Khan v Brook on June 13th 2015
I don't know why people don't like khan, yeah he's a nob in interviews but how cool.would you look being interviewed in front of millions of people
Bottom line for me is he's always in good fights

He was BT sports and says he promotes himself and has his own company, Hayman is his manager.
