Mayweather booed backstage after Maidana 2!!!
Well, word on the street that no Vegas, Golden Boy or Haymon operatives would dare to utter was the fact that backstage after the Mayweather/Maidana 2 fight, Floyd was heckled, booed and jeered by fans waiting to give him a piece of their mind.
Said that when Mayweather was leaving the arena and also the moments leading him from the dressing room to the post fight interviews, he was heckled out of this world- with fans even throwing cups and beer at him.
It was so bad that he had to bring his daughter close to him and have more than the average amount of security personnel around him.
People felt the fight was a let down, and his performance sucked. Yup. lololol...
It was so bad that people were throwing their TMT paraphernalia to the ground in front of him, spitting and stomping on it in front of him.

Were they wearing togas? Says a lot about the mind set or lack thereof that when a guy shuts another out that he gets booed. Like telling Jordan he was short and late on some of his jump shots or knocking Barry Sanders for making that second cut a little to early. To make matters worse they serve beer to this cavemen.

Like Ward, Floyd fights suck. And as he gets older, his fights are less and less exciting. He is the best, but sometimes that is a curse.

There is a reason why wrasslin', while seen as fake, got more ratings.... because it was a show. It produced drama.
Take for example Ward/Gatti- both mid-card guys, but produced a show out of this world. Both would never have beaten the top guys in their division even at their own prime, but we remember their fights....
Ward and Gatti have been in similar FOTY and FOTY candidates before they met- which included Robinson/Gatti on the one hand and Ward/Agustus on the other.
Sometimes people just want to be entertained- and you can't fault them for that when the part of the focus for the sport is to entertain.
Never forget- while they fight for the money, it is the fans that put up that money. From promoters, to investors, to the fans in the seats at the arenas and those that pay PPV money and bet.

Not really. There was a fight with gunshots after Mayweather/Maidana 1 as well and no one caught a picture or a camera shot of the activity. This was slightly before the post fight presser.

If I hear gun shots, the last thing I'm doing is hanging about to film... Especially not when the people involved are nobodies... Mayweather is hated and in the spotlight, that's why HE would be filmed. Can you even name the people in this fight? Apples and oranges.
Floyd Mayweather getting heckled and pelted isn't exactly life threatening... Plenty of time to film a clip. If you wanted to heckle him, surely you'd want to embaress him infront of a larger audience by gaving footage to put online - worldstar videos with nothing of notability in them get filmed and shares enough ???

Lots of crap can be around people with a bad boy rep. So let's add money to the equation. Then pile on evil things like vindiction. Sleeping with someone's wife. Paying people to be disruptive wouldn't be mind blowing. I pity floyd when he has to be a father. It ain't exactly a perfect situation for raising a child. What does it really mean if some did do this?
It means they were a bunch of drunks that when sober dont know the difference between a faint and a feint.
It means they probably put their rent cheque on Maidana.
It means they probably think fighting off the back foot is running.
These same people probably booed when the puck was iced at a hockey game or when the opposing team went off side.
